  1. Everything will be submitted online and the official due date is Aug.18th. They didn't give us anything to fill out during orientation. The only thing you need to bring is a signed copy of your VECHES waiver agreement. You will find this in your admission email. Hope this helps
  2. I'm doing nights at HealthSouth. Looks like we are all taking different routes lol. I'm almost done with the checklist, just need to get my CPR certification and the TDAP booster.
  3. Duplicate comment*
  4. Oh okay, I didn't know the results were going to take that long lol. Thought it was 3-5 days. Anyways, just glad I got it done and out of the way
  5. I opted for the TB blood test (single IGRA: QuantiFERON) instead of the skin test. Looks like it would take forever to get results from the one that requires 2 steps.
  6. You're welcome! I actually bought mine on amazon. You can buy them at Scubs N Stuff, but I found them much cheaper online. Here is the link: Amazon.com: 3M Littmann Lightweight II S.E. Stethoscope, Black Tube, 28 inch, 245: Industrial & Scientific
  7. I don't think it really matters what brand or color you buy. Just as long as it's a decent stethoscope because we'll be using it for our exams. I bought the 3M Littmann lightweight version in lilac.
  8. Somewhere in my email it states that too, so no worries!
  9. Thank you! I got mine at 2:15 PM
  10. I got in too! Congratulations to those who were accepted and praying that everyone remaining gets in as well ♡
  11. I'm doing great over here! Just keeping busy until July 1st! I seriously can't believe how fast time is passing. We have exactly one month to go! I'm also going on a long vacation. I think we desperately need one before nursing starts lol. Hope you all have an amazing summer and Good luck to the ones taking summer classes.
  12. Thank you! I'm not too worried; however, you never know these days, somthing could happen. I've heard that it's much harder to get into the fall than spring. Theres definitely pros and cons with taking day/night classes. At least you'll get the summers off! It's nice to have a long break.
  13. So happy that this semester has finally ended! I finished all of my prereqs, and applied to the program with 70 points! If I'm accepted, I would go with the night courses. You graduate a semester early and you get to sleep in lol. I decided to take the summer off, just to relax and not worry about deadlines. I know we'll have plenty of those in nursing. Can't wait until July 1st!
  14. Thanks for clarifying that..lol.. I thought they replaced the reading test with that exam. I actually took this course my first semester. It was super easy and useful.
  15. What's the CGS exam? Is this a new requirement for the nursing program? I'm confused, sorry.
