So, Mondays are generally tough, but we've started to get our winter numbers so they are particularly busy right now. And within two hours of starting my shift I had 3 PARTICULARLY IRRITATING things happen. Don't want to go in to details but it was all right in a row. Add in some PMS so my irritation threshold is lower than usual and I'm ready to go home or throw down with someone. Not really, but you know. And because my shift has only just begun that makes it worse because now I'm anticipating a whole night of more irritating events than per usual. Gah.
I know it could be worse but for me it is just one of those nights. I welcome any SERENITY NOW vibes anyone wants to send my way.

What gets me going is saying, “the only way is up from here…” This too shall pass. It will be either 8 or 12 hours of hell, but it will NOT last forever. Tomorrow is a new day.
I always say that's it's better to be pis**d off than pis**d on.
Also, I've found that what usually follows from a shift like that is an occurrence/something that happens that makes me feel REALLY crappy for feeling so bent out of shape in the first place.
