So irritated!

So, Mondays are generally tough, but we've started to get our winter numbers so they are particularly busy right now. And within two hours of starting my shift I had 3 PARTICULARLY IRRITATING things happen. Don't want to go in to details but it was all right in a row. Add in some PMS so my irritation threshold is lower than usual and I'm ready to go home or throw down with someone. Not really, but you know. And because my shift has only just begun that makes it worse because now I'm anticipating a whole night of more irritating events than per usual. Gah.

I know it could be worse but for me it is just one of those nights. I welcome any SERENITY NOW vibes anyone wants to send my way.

What gets me going is saying, “the only way is up from here…” This too shall pass. It will be either 8 or 12 hours of hell, but it will NOT last forever. Tomorrow is a new day.

Rants are no fun to read without details... :jester:

The F word, repeated 3 times (say it like you mean it), has always helped me out. :D

Just don't say Beetlejuice 3 times.....ok?:hpygrp:

You are my new favorite person!!!! What I use too. 3 F's and repeat until better prn :).

ah...dont sweat it...! your shift will be over and you can go home!! be thankful you got a job as a new grad...so many grads wish they could!

I always say that's it's better to be pis**d off than pis**d on.

Also, I've found that what usually follows from a shift like that is an occurrence/something that happens that makes me feel REALLY crappy for feeling so bent out of shape in the first place.

Lol, I know, but I figure I've posted enough about myself over the years to be pretty easily identified, you know? It would be more than irritating to have one little detail too much get me in deep doo doo.

Ehhh I don't mind being peed on so much. Hock a loogie on me or gargle in my face too much with your copious oral secretions that you aren't swallowing though and I might just vagal out.
