We have a snow day here in northern Indiana. While I'm glad for the chance to get some things done here at home I've been neglecting, I'm finding myself worrying about some of my kids. Are they home alone? Are they eating? Sigh.
I have lived here my whole life and we always get at least one snow day. Right now we have NO snow, and it feels like spring. As you know, last year we were buried!
We had a snow day yesterday, more because of freezing rain concerns than snow accumulation. Today it's 50 + degrees out and pouring. This has been such a weird winter.
We have three this year, perfect number. Love my summers off, so don't want to eat into that too much. One month until spring break, I can handle that.
We have had none this year. The snow that was predicted missed most of Chicagoland. An unexpected day off sounds nice, but so does getting out on May 20th.
