I am so proud of myself! I have gone 32 hours now with not even one puff of a cigg. It really hasn't been bad. I have had some withdrawl, but for the most part, I am doing it without too much effort, and I was smoking 2 packs a day. Wish me luck. :)

I am on week 25 with no smoking. It gets better. You will feel better. Don't be surprised if you start coughing up all kinds of crap soon.

Congrats! I'm 18 years without a cigarette. I was a three-pack a day smoker for 11 years! You can do it too!!!!

Don't be surprised if the psychological cravings persist, long after the actual physical desire to smoke goes away. I quit 12 years ago after smoking 2 1/2 packs a day, and I sometimes still caught myself looking for a smoke as long as 3 yrs. after I stopped. I'd go months without even thinking about cigarettes, then after a particularly good meal or during a traffic jam I'd find myself rummaging in my purse for one. BUT---always remember, "THIS TOO SHALL PASS". Keep up the good work!!
