I'm really desperate for a shoe with good support. I've tried Danskos and running shoes, but my arches ache when I'm on my feet all day long. Does anybody have experience with crocs? I heard they're good. Any other tips would be great! Thanks!

Have you tried New Balance? I have flat feet and they really help me. I have to replace them often though because the arch support gets broken down. (every 4-6 months) There are also other threads on good shoes search those.
As far as crocs I wouldn't recommend them. I tired some on and thought they felt like no support at all.

I wear Croc's for working. I have worn them for a year. I can work 8-14 hours and not once have my feet been sore at all. I have previously had problems with my legs being sore and my heels but since getting the croc's my feet are most comfortable. I wear the ones without holes and the only downside is that your feet will sweat.

Crocs came out with a new model this past summer that offers excellent support-The Specialist (with or without vents). Prior to buying these, I used New Balance for their arch support; but, still had aching feet at the end of the shift. The crocs, together with TEDS, has eliminated all foot pain (even after 4 in a row). The only problem is sweaty feet. That has been cured with a dab of antiperspirant [spelling?] on my soles and some baby powder on the socks.

All I can say is that MBT's are totally worth the $250 price tag. I love love LOVE mine!

Looking at the website.. it looks like there are a pair of specialist crocs with a vent.. that may help with the perspiration. Thanks!

I really like my "American Red Cross Shoes". I also have Cherokee "workwear" shoes and "Rockers" by Cherokee. They are both comfy, but not as much as the Red Cross shoes. I run on the treadmill at work during my break and my feet feel great before, during, and after my 12 hr shift, with all three pairs of my nsg shoes.

I found that the Klogs Professional line of shoes to be very supportive. I took advantage of the deal at the Orthotic Shop where they have a buy-together package on Klogs and Lynco orthotics. The removable insoles of the klogs makes using the lynco's easy and comfortable. Check out their lineup of Klogs Nursing Shoes. I have been wearing the Boca with the L420 lynco since I have low arches.

i like nike shox. i recently developed pretty severe plantar facitits and ended up buying arch supports from the good feet store. VERY expensive, but TOTALLY worth every penny. took away my foot, knee, hip and back pain!!

If you have been diagnosed with plantar faciitis(sp?) I wouldn't recommend Crocs..I wore them for the last time 3 weeks ago. My arches were killing me. If you don't have any foot problems, they may be fine, but they just didn't have enough support
I had good luck with the Danskos and I just bought those Sketchers Shape Up sneakers. They are very comfortable.

I wear regular Dr. Scholl's (sp?) sneakers and add the highest arch inserts I can find. That seems to have done the trick for me.

New Balance 845's . You might also buy some Super Feet inserts, I was told to get the blue ones.
