Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for the SoCal Kaiser Permanente RN Residency Program's October 2024 Cohort. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

Thanks for making this!  I also see they don't take interim applicants. I havent taken my NCLEX yet =( Wonder if Ill have to wait for the December cohort. Kinda crazy how difficult it is to get started after graduation!

Is the new grad program different from the nurse residency program? The pay seems drastically different. 

This also looks like it is for night shift =?

I tried applying for the New Grad RN Residency in October 2024 but, it says, "No longer in consideration for position". Does anyone know why? Can it be possible that I tried applying for the last Cohort in April 2024 and was not accepted? Any insight would be helpful. Reapply to the new job postings dated 7/22 (more locations opened up also). I think yours was for internal applicants on 7/18 according to the job number.

@teee Thanks. I appreciate it. I didn't notice the difference in job numbers. I was focused on the date of submission. I guess I got trigger happy when I saw it open on the Kaiser Permanente website. Good looking out.
