SoCal Kaiser Permanente New Grad RN Residency Program, October 2024 Cohort

Published

Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for the SoCal Kaiser Permanente RN Residency Program's October 2024 Cohort. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

Applications open up today, July 22 for external applicants! Good luck to all of us (-:

So, I submitted my application for Harbor City, but my "draft" for the Los Angeles application was submitted automatically. I'm confused; the Los Angeles application said I had until 2359 to complete it, so I worked on the Harbor City one that was scheduled to close in 2059. Will they use the completed application from Harbor City? I worried because although most of the info I had put in for the Los Angeles application was complete, I didn't get to change my cover letter for that location. Did anyone else have this problem? I had to work during the info session, so I missed it, and I'm worried I missed important information 😞

Can't you edit your submission under "my submissions"? I've done this in the past to add new documents.

While filling out the application, I clicked 'Save as Drat' instead of 'Save and Continue' and the following pop-up message appeared:

"You are about to save this job submission as draft. ... The job will be posted until Thu, 25 Jul 2024 20:59:00. After this date, you can no longer complete the job submission."

Is the Los Angeles application listed under 'Draft Submissions or 'Completed Submissions'

It's under "Draft Submissions"

No, it will not let me modify anything!

It will not be considered as it is not listed under 'Completed Submissions'

Would you happen to know the job number? There were 2 different Los Angeles job postings. From what I understand, everyone got the message, "No longer in consideration for position" for Job Number: 1275527 (Sunset Medical Center) almost immediately after submitting their application (including internal).

Huh...yes that's the job number. The job status says "Active (Accepting Job Submissions)" and I noticed there's no application status 😞

Thanks for the heads up. Can you let us know what you had to do for that? Is it just a questionnaire or do we have to upload anything.

Specializes in New Grad RN.

Just completed the career snapshot! I picked Woodland Hills and West LA as my top 2 locations

It's just a questionnaire. I had 25 questions. It just ask for what degree you completed, your RN license #, what's your top pick for the location and if you had any exposure to Kaiser.

Has anyone gone through the interview process in the past? If you have, what was it like?
