Hey all, just finished my rotation in OBGYN. I nted the phenomenon of women keeping totally bare mons and lady partsl area. I figured this trend would phase out like most but this trend is continuing to grow larger according to the nurses that worked with me. All others seeing this same upward trend...

I see plenty of naked people in the OR and you're right...many women, both young and old, are keeping Miss Kitty bare. Even had a couple of guys who were bare too.:stone

I don't think it's wrong to notice it, I am working postpartum and I've noticed it too! I told my mom no one under 25 has pubic hair anymore!

i have been keeping bare since i was 15,because i just do not like the way hair looks or feels down there.
idk. i think many women and men just prefer to keep themselves clean shaven, no big deal.

This is even noted in Peds. We have many, many girls come in shaved. Youngest I recall was 11.

It's just a fashion fad. As life goes on, fads come and go, then return yet again. I see nothing pathological about shaving; however, the risk of irritation and infection may be higher.
