sex in the work place...really?

So I'm watching television.... nursing and hospital shows of course...and they are always showing someone in these shows who is in love with another nurse, or doctor and they always end up having sex while in the hospital. My question is does this really go on at the workplace? How many of you have witness this, heard about it happening, or was one of the parties involved?

Yep, happens at our place. or has over the past years.... Nurse & Dr caught in one of the OR rooms. Nurse and DR on the cot in the OB overnight room. CFO and head of Plant operations in her office... MD and Med Records gal so often in med rec, that people would throw pebbles at the window and wait before going in the file room. Maint worker and Lab person in the chaple. Nurse and Rad tech in the dark room. MD and Nurse in the ER Dr lounge. those are just the ones I know of.

What a great topic OP, I have wondered the exact same thing. I dearly love Grey's Anatomy...along with it's spin off private practice but always find it hilarious the amount of sex that goes on in the office and in the hospital in these shows. I actually just got into an accelerated nursing program that starts this summer...maybe I'll have some stories to add in the future through observation of course, not experience

I was just about to ask you when it aired.

It happened in 2004.

Oprah called him from the show to ask why he wasn't there, with his wife (he was supposed to appear with her).

If I remember, they were in the process of launching "Dr. Phil."

He stammered something about missing his flight, dodged some questions & magically lost reception on his cell.....

Yea....it was quite the stir, he still works there, his wife left him....though I hear through the grape vine he's still a horn dog.

If there were that much sex going on at real workplaces, we would have more stories about contented workers walking around with smiles on their faces. In reality, one would think the opposite occurs. Bad workplaces keep workers from getting satisfied at home so they are always grumpy.

We had one gal that would *go to get a coffee*...and come back all flushed and wild looking on nite shift. She would get lost in time too...an hour would go by while we would wait patiently for her to come back. Upon her arrival she would vehemently deny that she had been gone that long. We knew that she was having a thing with the resp therapist. It was kinda comical, cause she thought the wool was pulled over all her eyes. Turns out, only hers. Her hubby knew through the grapevine. Dropped her like a hot potato, and the resp therapist quit and stopped seeing her. Ivanna
