I start my senior year on Monday. I am VERY excited! I'll be 40 just a few weeks before I finish next May and it will be one HUGE celebration for me.

I feel like I am finally getting into some good content too. I'll be taking OB and Peds and med-surg II this semester. I am leaning towards the NICU or peds ER for a career so I am so excited to be getting a taste of it.

Ummm... are we at the same school? :lol2: I'm a senior and taking OB/Peds and med/surg II too (as well as nursing research). I've had a ton of fun this summer but am excited to get back to work! The only challenging class is med/surg and 20 clinical hours. I am RELIEVED because last semester (med/surg, pharm, psych) was horrible, everyone about died!

Another senior here!!! I have thoroughly enjoyed the summer but I'm ready to get this show on the road! August 24th, the rollercoaster starts again!

I'm taking OB, Psych and Peds...in that order. Can't wait!

I am a senior, graduating in May. I start back on the 24th of August, with Med Surg III, Psych Nursing, and Peds. I'm kind of freaking out about it right now, as this is supposed to be a really tough semester. I am NOT ready to go back, but at the same time, I'm ready to get it all over with, too.

Funny! We took med-surg, pharm, and psych last semester too! We also take 120 hours of med-surg!

We take the research class in the summer mini-mester. I actually took it the summer before starting my junior year instead of the summer between junior and senior year. I think this class should be taken before any other nursing class really because it really helped me learn to do APA and how to pick apart the research data we saw later in the program. It wasn't my favorite class but I thought it was interesting at least.

We split the OB and Peds class. Half of us take OB for the first 7 weeks and then we take the peds part and the other half does the opposite. Does your program do it this way too?

I'm so ready to get this party started!
