SENIOR year of nursing

I was just wondering who here is starting their senior year of Nursing this fall semester?? I am and I feel TOTALLY BURNED OUT:eek:... I am just prayin that I will be able to make this semester.

On August 23rd I start my VERY LAST semester of nursing school! :yeah: I'm very excited and can't wait to graduate. I'm taking peds first then precepting (hopefully in critical care!!) along with nursing research and two gen ed requirements.

I start my senior year in 4 days and I cannot wait to finsh!!! I'm taking critical care first so I hope it won't completly drain me.

I've experienced this twice in life.

One, when I was in paramedic school. I was also going to college (university) by day working towards a B.S. degree. I commuted over to a community college at night to do the paramedic stuff. Neither school knew I was enrolled at the other. I like "medical stuff," but after having 30 semester hour semesters I got sick and tired of paramedic school and clinicals. I couldn't stand it toward the end. About three months passed upon finishing the program before I got interested in actually finding a medic job.

Two, after I completed the police academy. It was kind of like boot camp in that we had to get up early, do PT, march, do flag formation, wear BDUs, and worst of all we couldn't leave. That said, police junk was crammed down our throats throughout it all, and we never could distance ourselves from it. I got a day and a half off before I had to go to work between finishing the academy and going into part II of my field training. I remember the first day back very clearly. Quite simply, I wanted no part of being a a cop. I was cooked. Over time, it came back though.

You'll get past it. You just need more you time and the ability to do it more your way and less someone else's way. Hang in there.

I will be starting my senior year on 23 AUG.So excited.Will be doing peads,psych,management and community health nursing and have to repeat med surge 1 which really sucks.Passed med surge 2 with a B.

Im also in my senior year of nursing, I must say the pressure is on, more studying and more clinicals...But look at the bright side, eventually we will be done...:)

I'll be starting my senior year next Monday. I can't believe I/we only have 2 semesters left. I'm not ready for the stress again, lol. Good luck!

I'm going into my last semester, in a couple of weeks, and I am REALLY excited!!! It will be an intense semester, but it is going to go fast!

I'm a senior...or junior plus, however you want to look at it lol. I'll finish in December 2011 instead of May.

Hi and congratulations to all of us that have made it this far. I am also starting my last semester in Sept. and graduate in Dec. I can't wait, and am like everyone else very anxious. I think it will be pure studying this semester all the way.
