Hello! I have a second interview coming up, with the same health services staff that did my first one and the Principal of the school I may be placed in. Anyone have experience with this? My current school nursing position only had one panel interview with school health staff...
Any ideas on possible things to expect during this second interview?

I had a large group interview, Principal, AP, Guidance, SPEd, student, other nurse in district....The principal is the "face of the building" so to speak, so a good connection with that person can make life much easier. They want to know they can trust your clinical judgement, your ability to work with students, parents( who can be a challenge on any given day), how you will handle yourself in an emergent situation....
Best of luck!
Thank you ?
I had clinical scenario type questions in my first interview, so I’m thinking this one may be more “how would you handle an irate parent” type questions... my friend who interviewed with a Principal said hers was more of a “meet and greet”...so I just don’t know what to expect. I’m so nervous and excited!
Good Luck!

Ask the principal (if you can) what's the most important thing to them? Is it that the parent receive the world's best customer service or is it butts in seats so the student may best take advantage of their free and appropriate public education? Because if you get the job that's your mantra.
In my case I was the sixth person interviewed (five were well-qualified districit nurses wanting to go open the newest high school). So one of my questions was, what didn't you find from the other five? If the principal is able to articulate why, then find a way to answer that. If not.... they will maybe realize they're being too picky??? I think that's what worked for me.

I interviewed with one of the administrators and they mainly asked about my experience with special education and individualized education plans. I remember them asking about how I would handle conflicts with students, parents, teachers, etc...

I remember being asked about conflicts with students, parents, staff etc. My principal knew I lived in the neighborhood that fed into the school so I had several questions about confidentiality, social media, how I would respond if I at our neighborhood pool and parents asking me questions etc etc. I also had really random questions like "how would you plan your day?" and questions that I felt were more geared to a teacher role.
Thank you for all the info and tips you guys! I appreciate it. ☺️ Even though I prepared, I’m not really sure how it went. I felt great on a couple questions and I rambled and fumbled on a couple others. First interview I answered every question very confidently, but I definitely left this interview feeling less so. As I reflected I of course thought of the perfect answers and every little thing I left out- which of course in an actual scenario, I’d never leave out. (Some of the scenarios were things I’ve handled and had a great outcome and I still managed to leave out a couple details I shouldn’t have- Gah...I feel like my nerves got the better of me during this interview.)
BUT, we shall see ??♀️??
