Even though I retired from nursing this past Spring and am heavily involved in my art, allnurses continues to be my favorite website. And General Nursing is my favorite forum.
I come here to identify with nurses & their situations, to recall my own, offer advice and/or support when I can, to learn, and to continue to feel a sense of belonging & camaraderie.
So, I want to send Season's greetings to all the members, mods & and administrators, and my friends on allnurses with the gift of a GIF:

Either way make sure you are uploading the correct file format (gif, jpg, png) to compress or to upload to allnurses.
Yes, black and white would be smaller as it requires less information. The more colors or layers you use the heavier the file.
Uploading first to iloveimg, then downloading the compressed version, and the attempting to upload the compressed version to AN.
Like I said, I'm a self-taught neophyte at all this, so please allow me to play around with the compression thing and I'll either make headway or seek your sage advice.

I don't mind sharing my knowledge so reach out if you need anything.
Did you see the latest newsletter (inbox)?
Happy Holidays!!
If it's OK with you ... I'd like to delete my previous before/after (compressed gifs) posts as they are not needed here. I just uploaded for your information.

EXCELLENT MEME! THANK YOU!
I don't want to be famous. Well, not until after I die anyway.
I was famous for 15 minutes once, and it took all of the Andy Warhol out of me.
I don't do facebook, but once again, THANKS!

Merry Christmas to all!!
I wish you all peace no matter how you celebrate!
Astute observation, Nutmegge. Davey & Goliath, as did Rudolph, used stop motion claymation animation. I do a rudimentary form of the same type of animation. I just sort of fell into it and immediately fell in love with claymation.
With claymation, I get to use various sorts of art media, like clay sculpting, photography, and computer graphics, along with sketching, note taking, wood sculpting, and metal soldering.
These GIFs are truly an act of love!
The Season's Greetings in return to you, Nutmegge!

(UGH, showing my age)
I was mighty impressed to see Davey start doing claymation. Now that's ART!
My Mom bought me a Gumby in 1964! Another claymation animation that's been around since 1953!
Showing your age isn't as bad as showing your slip, Joe.
And thank you for the "that's Art!" comment!

Every year, The Wizard of Oz would be announced to be played and the whole family would be sure to watch it!
Referring back to black & white TV, I never realised the Horse of a Different Color actually changed colors until I saw the movie on a color TV!
That’s another of my favorites, too! They used to play it on TV around Easter when I was a kid. I haven’t seen it in years though, none of the networks show it anymore. ?
