Even though I retired from nursing this past Spring and am heavily involved in my art, allnurses continues to be my favorite website. And General Nursing is my favorite forum.
I come here to identify with nurses & their situations, to recall my own, offer advice and/or support when I can, to learn, and to continue to feel a sense of belonging & camaraderie.

They gave him a Daisy award.
Yeah, they say Gumby made quite a spectacle of himself at the Christmas awards banquet. He got up to thank everybody for the award, staggered on stage, and his speech was slurred. He got the name of the award wrong, and tripped walking off of the stage.
