hey guys, i got the offer friday night but i did not receive that e-mail that sooperdooper had posted. They must be still sending out e-mails and making calls. I'm crossing my fingers for all of you!

...and for those with April birthdays, I'm an April baby too. April 16 =) It is the best b-day present so far.

Hey guys - I also didn't receive that email regarding start dates/locations and was extended the offer yesterday. It must have been sent to an initial batch of new hires and am assuming that offers are still ongoing.

Tomorrow is another day though - I'm rooting for you guys and hope that you will have good news to share with us shortly!! Keep us updated!

Good Luck everyone: Today is a new day and hopefully it will bring good news to many of us. This forum has been so supportive. With that stated, I would be proud to have each of you as my nursing colleague. I can tell that we will all be so supportive of one another during the next phase of our nursing careers.

Any news anyone? I got an email from the person who interviewed me (non unit manager) and it stated that HR are the ones who will make the final hiring decision. So those of you who interviewed with someone other than a unit manager I am assuming they gave their recommendations to Toni and her team to make the final choice. Ughhhhh I wish I would just know a yes or no! I don't know about you guys but I have been a stress ball.

I agree, I've been on edge this whole weekend. I didn't realized that human resources played that big a role with the hiring. I should of spent more time talking to them while I was at the interview event.

I agree! I feel like I should have sent my thankyou for the interview card to HR and interviewer. Its so bad but I can't help myself, i am going over everything I said and did and rationalizing if it was a good idea. I seriously need to stop. I guess what I am really struggling with is I felt I had a phenomenal interview. We talked like we knew eachother for years. Infact we talked for over an hour. Its almost heart breaking to feel like you made such a great rapport with someone and then the decisions is passed to a group of people who have never met you. I guess for me I will be mainly judged on paper and not as much on my personality and knowledge. Sorry everyone, I am just venting I am usually a very positive person.
