Hi All !!

I got an invitation for an interview also. Does anyone have info on which departments are hiring? Good Luck to all of You !!!

Frida I have an interview Tuesday at 530pm too. I wish I knew which dept I was being interviewed for. Well I guess I will find out once I get there. I havent had much experience with interviews. Not sure what to expect.

I believe medical acute, surgical acute, oncology, ED. Not sure what other depts. Looks like we will only have one interview.

Hi all!

I'm interviewing 3:30 on Tuesday. I'm so glad to see others are 'in the dark' about what exactly we're interviewing for too. I was so worried when I realized I couldn't access my application anymore to remind myself what units/hospitals I even listed as preferences!

Thanks, carreont, for giving me some reminder.

I feel like a hot mess every since Saturday - I just found out Sat night that I was interviewing Tuesday, and I live in the Sacramento area (Davis). I've been scrambling to buy a very expensive last-minute plan ticket, get a room at a hostel and figure out the San Diego bus schedules (perhaps you can deduce that I am running out of money?). This is a big financial risk for me but I have to take it. This is my *first* interview and I'm, frankly, slightly terrified. I would love to work at Scripps and live in San Diego. I really hope that my resume and cover letter got me 80% in, and the interview will be my chance to just show them I'm an articulate, compassionate, intelligent person. I have no idea how many we're up against, guys....

My most ideal unit would be maternal/newborn, but I guess they're not hiring for that this time around. I'd be perfectly happy starting in med/surg or onc if that's all that's offered - I think I'd grow much more as nurse there anyway.

Good luck, everyone!

I'll probably see you, but who knows if we'll actually have any idea who we are - oh, the joys of internet anonymity.

Hi!

SarahLT - Your post sounds just like me. I have an interview tomorrow at 4:30. I panicked since I couldn't access my app and refresh my memory. Also, a financial risk for me and my first interview. At least it sounds like they're hiring a good number of new grads. It will be interesting to see how the day goes tomorrow.

Good luck to everyone!

Hi! I got an interview for Wednesday at 3pm, but the email said it won't be over until 8pm. And "First come, first serve"?!? Does that mean even if you show up at 3pm, you may have to wait until 7pm for the interview? I wish somebody finish w the interview can answer some questions... Good luck everyone :)

I also thought that wording was strange, tthoangk.

Isn't it kind of cryptic to say "arrive 10 minutes early" but also "first come first serve"? The latter statement makes me want to get there as early as possible, but the former makes me think I'll be unwelcome if I'm there more than 10 minutes early.....

Nicrn7: thanks for the always-welcome empathy. Even if we're both in a scary, leaky, boat, we're in the same one :)

Where is everyone doing their interview at? I'm in La Jolla.

I'm pretty sure everyone's in the same place: La Jolla.
