Small town in NH. First year as a school RN, second year of nursing. I work in a special education school, 30 students, mainly with ADHD and ODD. I started at $36,000 and was told this will increase next school year, and when I finish my BSN. I supplement with residential Camp nursing for two weeks during the summer, my kids get to go for free and I am making money!

Maryland - $45,500/yr with 14 yrs experience pd over 12 months. I work in an Elementary School - approx 500 students. M-F 8:15-3:45 for 190 days per yr. I also get retirement but we are not on the same pay scale as Teachers. We are on the Support Staff pay scale which is lower than Teachers and not as appreciated.
Do you mind me asking what part of Maryland you work in? I just saw a full time opening in Hagerstown, I'm very interested in applying as we will be moving to the area this summer.

How do you get the School Nurse Credential in CA? I've been looking at the civilian sector as a school nurse.
