New position...HELP
Hello all. I live in North NJ. I have accepted an offer with a company that receives govt funding to serve underserved populations. I was told that due to this, they cannot negotiate the salary. I was offered 98k. Mon to friday with maybe 1 wkend per month. No on-call. Has anyone else had any similar experiences. I am a new grad and this would be my first NP position. The contract is for 3yrs with yearly salary negotiation based on productivity. I ultimately am interested in opening up my practice/business. The center also qualifies for loan reimbursement which I don't like to really factor into the salary. Should I negotiate further?

so far so good. I am about to start my clinicals. all a's so far. If there is something I don't like, I advocate for myself. I would say to do it!

South university online graduate school of nursing (msn family nurse practitioner)
and yes you have to find your own clinical sites which can be a challenge. lucky for me i found one site that is willing to take me for all my clinicals excluding one because he doesn't have an NP.

South university online graduate school of nursing (msn family nurse practitioner)
I am currently at south. ive doubled up the whole way. I am about to start clinicals and cant double up anymore. sofar so good. no complaints. I have all a's so far. It can be a lot of work so you have to take time to do it. i also work full time and have 3 children. I do work in a school setting so doing work throughout the day is a bit easier. I started june and I have completed 6 courses already. I am on my 7th and 8th course and scheduled to be done in just under 20 months. I do not have time to do a traditional program and I actually like online courses. I would say do it.

Why are there so many SHADY clinics hiring? *New grad Vent*
I wish I would! I have about a year left in my program and I am intersted in moving to Texas. This would have been great!!

The dreaded topic...lice
i know. classroom lice checks do not make any sense. and if any other member of the school staff had to do it, it would cause an uproar!

South University FNP MSN program???
I have applied to the FNP and should start at the end of the month. I don't know how to PM on here, but my email is [email protected] if anyone is starting, or currently in the program and would like to do a support group. Does Florida accept this degree? I know NY is very rigid with online NP programs...

I started my application. Is anyone still in the online FNP program? If so, how is it? I do see mixed reviews
