San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2011

Just wanted to start a thread for the Fall 2011 SJC applicants to the ADN Program. I am eagerly awaiting the application period. Have any of you applied to other schools nearby?

True but compared to other nursing schools, they are behind. Others have had orientation already and physicals. Some are already registering!

Yea but the deadline for apps at these other schools was a lot earlier than san jacs June 1st deadline right

Me too! And my main reason for wanting to immediately share the joy here will be because everyone else I know just doesn't understand how big of an achievement it is to get into a program.... They all think its like any other college program where if you want to do it, you just sign up and go. I WISH!!!

No, they don't understand but we all sure do! So honey, u gloat away when u get ur email :) and I'll do the same...unless I don't get one, then I don't wanna hear u lol. Just kidding! We've all worked super hard to get HERE so hopefully we all get in. Just a few more days...

We also have to keep in mind that some spots will be declined, so if we aren't picked Friday then it isn't quite time to give up hope. They always send out a second wave, usually up until orientation. Good luck to everyone here, I know how much we all want this, and how much time and effort it takes to get here.

Well, I got another email from someone else today stating that they will be sending out emails on Monday, the 18th?? *big sigh

yes it was... She said to start checking emails on Monday... i'm hoping she said that just to be on the safe side in case they aren't done by friday at 5.
