San Jacinto College ADN Fall 2011

Just wanted to start a thread for the Fall 2011 SJC applicants to the ADN Program. I am eagerly awaiting the application period. Have any of you applied to other schools nearby?

I don't think it could be another 3 weeks, I've called 2 times and they have said the same thing. Once they said early to mid july, and this time they said next week (which is mid july). They have to get everyone registered and do orientation so 3 weeks isn't enough time.

I just sent an email requesting a status check... I'll let you guys know what they say as soon as I get a response :)

Have u emailed and gotten a reply before? I was told they are bad about responding to emails regarding acceptance. I would suggest calling, in the meeting they said it was fine to call after the 5th of july.

I've only emailed during the application period, and they were very helpful. I just thought I'd give it a shot. If I don't get a reply in a few hours then I'll call... thanks for the tip!

No reply via email so far... I tried calling but can't get thru to anyone :( ...Kathleen1323, I don't think they've started sending emails out yet

Man I'm so ancy about the program, I really hope I get accepted! I called in late June and they said mid July as well. Mid July is here so ill keep you updated if I get any type of email from them! I was checking SOS and saw a bunch of nursing classes are full,should I have signed up for classes already? Someone mentioned getting shots? Kind of not sure what to do! I hate this feeling!

I am on campus for a summer class and decided to pop into the nursing admin office to ask when acceptance letters are going out. The front office woman said they hope to send them this Friday after 5 pm!

That doesn't give us much time! Seems very rushed and last minute!!! Makes me nervous!!

School doesn't start till Aug 31. It's 1 1/2 months notice. Seems like plenty of time to me.
