It could very possibly be an improvement over my currrent working conditions.

I think it would be a great idea and for that matter considering that95 percent of all nurses are femalethat is the majority of who will go. I have already served my time ofover 6 years and 9 months and thus have completed my full obligation.
Got lost with the comparison with women. Newest forecasts are that male nursing could be as high as 9% War might not be the best place to pickup someone for a coffee date.

As for the rest, WWIII is extremely hypothetical. If it did happen... of course the lot of us compassionate and concerned types would go. Plus you'll drain your ERs of trauma junkies, go students!

I would surely do whatever I could, but I do not believe I would go anywhere for war.

Nothing wrong with it if it comes to that. Will be easier to deal with if I bleieve in the cause, as I guess is the case for most people.

Haha... if I was still working at the hospital, my thought would be "anything to get me out of here." I am ineligible for military service due to my medical conditions and, as far as I know, I am also ineligible to be a military nurse because of that. Oh well.

Wars aren't fought like that anymore.

I believe drafting is completely against everything that our country stands for, the most basic being freedom. However, I would serve my country of my own free will.

I would serve my country proudly if it came to that. Just like my family has in our countries time of need.

WW III no need for nurses. After WWII they ask Albert Einstein if there would be a World War Three. He said "Yes, There will be a World War Three. It will be fought with Atomic Weapons and there will be a World War Four. It will be fought with rocks.
WW II was the last convectional war. The idea that armies going off to war is in the past. Nuclear War - Can you say vaporize?

Although I have never been in the military I became a nurse in order to serve if ever needed. Sign me up.

Is it 1983 all over again? I haven't heard anyone express concern about WWIII in a looooong time.
Seriously, I would go to Canada. Or Mexico. Or hide out in a cave in the mountains. I don't believe in war, period, and I'm not going.
