Frontliner, 11 year veteran RN, in the Emergency Department. For the last year and a half, I have been exposed to so much Covid I feel I'm so blessed. I have had it splash in my face, eyes and mouth. I have taken antibody test and just can't seem to test pos for any antibodies ... which rules me out for an asymptomatic "Super Spreader!" If my employer mandates the Covid Vaccine I will be looking for RN jobs that do not require the vaccine. I'm employed in North Carolina but willing to travel for Jobs that do not require the Vaccine. It's my body and my choice. This thread is for links and discussion of RN jobs that do not require the Covid vaccine. Stay safe all! You could die tomorrow from a drunk driver. So don't fear death, I do not, and you should not either. Fear what happens after death.

Vaccines are great! Science is science! That's what I say.

I would imagine there are some RN jobs that do not require the COVID-19 vaccine, depending on the employer and location. Do a search for jobs that are labeled as "remote" or "telehealth" as these positions might be less likely to require in-person interactions with patients and, thus, the need for the vaccine.

Overall, most healthcare facilities and employers are requiring the COVID-19 vaccination for RNs. However, the situation is constantly evolving, and policies may change over time.

Good luck with your search!

When you say "we already know", are you saying everyone on the all nurses forum stand with you? In addition, are you setting me apart as some RN that is clueless? You are confirming what I thought that AllNurses is a predominantly Liberal Forum. It's a shame! I have many many coworkers that are on my side. Ready to bounce soon as Government over reach comes our way. It's a shame because there is already a shortage healthcare across our country. Only more patients will suffer. SMH

Don't you feel "clueless" now?  You anti-vaxxers were so wrong.

I think you should tell everyone where u work so we can avoid that place like the plague (no pun intended) because I don't think I would want a nurse who doesn't believe in science to be taking care of me.  That's actually what the S in BSN stands for, just fyi

Can't like this enough.

While I have some skepticism around the COVID vaccine, I get all the vaccines required by my job.  That is because I have bills to pay.  I don't have the luxury of not having to work.

In addition, all this anti-COVID vaccine hysteria has spilled over into people not wanting to get any vaccines and I am sick of it.  Unless a person has a documented allergy/sensitivity to a vaccine, just get vaccinated!

We are supposed to be healthcare workers here and setting an example for our patients.  Vaccines are one of the greatest inventions in the history of healthcare.  Diseases like smallpox used to kill MILLIONS, and even people who weren't killed by the disease could be left blind or horribly scarred.

If you can't bring yourself to get vaccinated, please leave the healthcare field.

As more and more people in this country refuse to get vaccinated for anything, we are going to start seeing outbreaks of disease.  This is already happening in some parts of the country.

My mother was Korean and smallpox used to kill millions of people in Asia and around the world.  She was so proud of her smallpox vaccination scar and told me how happy she was when she was able to get vaccinated.  She had seen many people die from it, or left horribly disfigured.

Frankly, I'm extremely disappointed when I see RNs and NPs who seem to be against fundamental aspects of modern medicine.  I've seen NPs who publicly say medication is bad and they don't want to prescribe ANY medication.  Enough.

I could not agree more with what you said here, especially this

With three autoimmune conditions I am pretty diligent about vaccines as my immune system needs all the help it can get. To date I have had five Covid 19 vaccines. I keep waiting for the horns and tail to start growing. I have also have had Covid 19 twice but both cases were very much like a run of the mill flu which I am vaccinated against as well.
