In preparation for getting a BSN, I am trying to gather information regarding online BSN programs. if you have links to what you feel is an affordable, online, no residency requirement program, please post 'em here.
One program that I came across was at Thomas Edison State College. does anyone have any information regarding their program? I was hoping to find someone that has first hand (or second hand ? ) experience with the TESC RN to BSN program as it seems to be an affordable option, which, of course, is always a bonus. from reading the catalog on their site it appears that you can use some of the EC exams to satisfy the upper-level nursing courses.
The TESC program looks pretty decent but I am looking for some feedback to any online rn to BSN program. if anyone has links to what they feel is an affordable online rn/bsn program please post the link here.
Online Nursing Degree Programs at Thomas Edison State University
are they increasing their tuition across the board. i had just about talked myself into applying to one of their masters programs (non- nursing) i have been eying for a while.
i applied to ft. hays this week, they are reviewing their tuition, any idea what kind of increase they're looking at? i love that it's all online. still requires the sciences and stats etc. but their reputation is good.
To meet the general requirements for IWU's Bachelor of Science degree you must earn 30 credits in Liberal Arts:
Try Indiana Wesleyan (IWU) for their RN-BSN program, I believe they don't require chemistry or stats. Best of luck to you!
But they require 30 credits in Liberal Arts including:
Although you stated affordable, I did the University of Phoenix online BSN and now the MSN and I find it totally doable. I'm going from an ADN to BSN to MSN in 30 months.
This is my ultimate goal!!! I know this post is ancient, but have you completed your MSN? If so please advise me on your plan and how you did it... I plan on enrolling with UOP in Aug... Thanks!!!
Hello,
Have read many, many threads on RN- BSN programs. I am considering returning to Excelsior College for BSN. Unfortunately, there seems to be little to no comments regarding EC BSN program.
I am aware EC do not require clinicals (CPNE) for BSN. So many options to choose from It just seems simple to deal with school u r familiar with
If anyone has experienced EC BSN program please share.

I haven't read much if any that I recall about American Sentinel University on here. Does anyone know much about this school or has attended it? Also, does anyone know much about the detc accreditation? Do most other university's take DETC accreditation? Thanks for all your help.
