Report Card Time!!!!! What did yall get?

I am so happy to some time off!

Biology A

Sociology A

Intro to Nursing B (never studied or read the book, total waste of time)

College Alg. A

Specializes in PeriOp, ICU, PICU, NICU.
GEEZ!!!!!! How are you guys getting such great grades? It seems like everyone is getting an "A" in EVERYTHING!! All of my classes were REAL HARD this semester........in my Medical Terminology class I was bordering 92-93% but the teacher considers an "A" a 93 and up.........I dont know my final grade yet. In my History class there was 1 A, 1 B and the rest C's, D's and F's going into the Final..........I had the only B but the grades have not been posted yet. My philosophy class was fairly easy and I cruised through getting either an A or B.......my math class I got a D so I will have to retake :crying2:

Yeah, my courses have been very tough as well. Not too many pass them. An A at my school starts at 94+ so it is a tough grading scale like many other students here I am sure.

Hi! I'm sorry that you failed APII. I'm taking AP2 in Spring and I think I will be studying the way I studied AP1.

I did flashcards, re-writing notes, scanned some of the pictures in the book and lab manual and white out the labels, made several copies so I can practice labeling them. I take my flashcards and the scanned pics wherever I go, like waiting in the docs office and banks so I can browse them. I studied every chance I get maybe at least an hr a day. I tried not to fall behind.

I am sorry you failed A&P II

I did the following to help me to get an A in A&P1, which I think is a lot harder than A&PII:

Read the Chapter summary before class

Go to class early and sit in the front

Tape the lecture/Highlight key points while taking notes

Rewrite class notes within the first 24 hours or before next class

Study everyday

Use Cliffnotes and Schaum's

End of Chapter practice tests

Tutoring if I am having trouble understanding difficult concepts

Study group with serious students (limit to no more than 4)

Study, Study and study before the exam (mark your calendar on all test dates)

I can't believe it..I am so proud. My GPA is now 3.65 and I have one more semester to raise it before applying to the program!

General Psychology A-

Average 3.67

I took the Sociology Clep today and passed. I am so happy, I saved on time and money.

I hope to improve A&p 2 to an A.

My school have a very tough grading scale.

First of all let me say that everyone is kicking A** in thier classes, awesome job! My grades were:

AP I lecture -- A

AP I lab --A

Algebra-- A

Chemistry -- A

Chemistry lab -- A

I have managed to keep my 4.0 so far but Micro is one of my classes this semester so we'll see :uhoh3: :uhoh3: :uhoh21: :imbar :rotfl:

My current school doesnt use the plus/minus system, however, the school where I did my undergrad did. I like the plus/minus system.

Hi Guys!! This semester I took

Science 25 ( Chem and Physics mix) got a B-

Developmental Psych A+

My Overall GPA is 3.66 as of now. I am awaiting my NLN results which I took yesterday and HOPE to take A&P II , Nursing Drug Calcualtions and Fundamentals of Nursing the Spring Semester!!! Great grades everyone!! Wish I didnt get that B- but Chem and phy are my weakness!! :uhoh3:
