Wage difference between an ADN and BSN Nurses?

I'm a prospective nursing student and I live in and plan to work in Connecticut. Will there be a large wage difference if I was to take a job with my associate's as opposed to my bachelor's or master's? Thanks

Depends on the facility. Some follow the "an RN is an RN" philosophy and pay the same regardless of degree. Others may offer a small increase for the degree. My facility has a different method: to reach the top of the clinical ladder, one must have either a degree or certification. Incentive for that is $2 per hour added to the hourly wage.

BSNs make a whopping $0.25 more an hour than ADNs. seriously? a quarter of a dollar? Not super motivating... But I work in Louisiana, in the south everyone is underpaid.

Two nurses walk into an HR....

a facility may pay each the same, but the BSN is more employable: has more choices, is more likely to be hired, more likely to be promoted. So, in that sense the BSN will be making more money.

No difference where I used to work. But the hospital is putting on a BIG push for RNs to get their BSN...

No difference in pay at my hospital either as far as I know. Some management jobs require a BSN in my hospital, but one can still get hired as a floor nurse and even work as a charge nurse with an ASN.

No difference in pay at all yet they are no longer hiring ADNs. Also, gave a deadline by which all current employees with ADNs have to have a BSN to stay employed.
