Stay tune for more changes.
So how do I get rid of the "strip" across the bottom of my screen that has different icons on it like Facebook, Twitter, a printer icon, etc. most of the time I am on my phone and stay logged of and not comment because this strip makes it a pain to do so...like right now! Doesn't show up anywhere else that I know of but I really don't "go" anywhere else
These are social share buttons. If they are appearing on the right of the screen, you can elect out by clicking on your name above far right then select, settings. Scroll to elect out by clicking the box next to "show search bar". Scroll to save all changes.
There used to be a heart-shaped button right under my avatar that would bring me to my subscriptions (or favorites). Now I have to go to my account, and then favorites. I know it sounds lazy but I'd love to have that button back right on the main page. :)
If you click on your name at the top right, you should get a short drop down menu. Favorites is one of the options, and doesn't require going to your account. If you are not getting a drop down menu, it could be that you are clicking on your name before the page fully loads- I've done that before.
The postings' print format is about the only good thing. And I get gobblygook when I type - I an not that bad a typist!
By "gobblygook", do you mean having a hard time making a post in quick reply, etc.? Cursor issues? Please detail what you mean.
We are having issues with IE. Are you using that?
If cursor/return issues, for now try the following...
Click on the "Switch Editor to Source Mode" button on quick reply. (button far left-hand side)

If you are on a regular computer (I am not sure if it works in the mobile version or not) and you put your mouse over that dot, a little pop-up will appear and tell you what it means - there are bronze, silver, gold, and platinum levels for number of posts. Hovering over the dot tells you how many posts that user has made. For example, I put my mouse over your dot and saw that you have made 431 posts. :)
