There's usually some truth in humor and wondering if this any indication that the public perception of nurses are changing. It's definitely not a positive portal of nurses and hopefully not a future trend.
Link:
If the nurses were played by comediennes like Amy Poehler, Wanda Sykes, Lily Tomlin and Margaret Cho, and they had to explain what nurses deal with, that would be funny. Then the audience could ask dumb questions about
"how to get a script for dilaumed",
" I was there first and they took the guy who passed out not fair,"
"why cant the kitchen just send us all food trays"
" I had to wait when I went to the ER when I twisted my ankle and the nurses were rude"
"I couldn't get anyone to wipe me when i had my bunion surgery "
I would love to see Lily Tomlin tell someone like that to get real.
There is plenty of material on this site for a parody of what we have to put up with.i
Sorry...this one misses the mark.No public perception tide turning...
And Amy Schumer is not the brightest test bulb in the comedic box either...
Are you saying she's not to Lenny Bruce or George Carlin of her generation?
I think she may qualify as the Andrew Dice Clay of her generation....

I don't follow her, but I recently saw her bit about asking for birth control - had me rolling on the floor.
