There's usually some truth in humor and wondering if this any indication that the public perception of nurses are changing. It's definitely not a positive portal of nurses and hopefully not a future trend.

It is satire and not at all funny and there is a small grain of truth in it.
I think it is moderately accurate portrayal of a few nurses and support staff that I have met and how they dressed, spoke and conducted themselves.
Your photo isn't exactly helping the public perception either.

I thought it was just me who found it offensive.

Ugh. I watched only about a minute and a half and that was enough for me.

I think it's indicative of the fact that the "nurses" with whom the vast majority of the public have contact are really just the Medical Assistants who room them at their local doctor's office.

Well, looks like an unpopular opinion but I actually found it funny in the way that it was just slapstick over-the-top kind of comedy.

I'm not offended but I didn't think it was funny. There's so much more that they could have done with over the top nurse satire that we could have really identified with. They could have gone with more gallows humor to start, not indifference.
I don't have my finger on the pulse of nursing being somewhat isolated in my little bubble where that routine doesn't remotely represent the people I work with and we still have a more traditional image with our patients.

I agree completely. I thought the premise was full of potential. I'd love to see nursing and nurses skewered and satirized in a smart and funny way.
Unfortunetly, this skit just wasn't funny. Not in a "I'm offended" sense, more in a "it's just not humorous" sense. Plus, as I said, Amy is obviously equating the MAs at her doctor's office with nurses.... and doing so unintentionally, without any apparent irony.... which is just tiresome.

Sorry...this one misses the mark.
No public perception tide turning...
And Amy Schumer is not the borough test bulb in the comedic box either...

I also got medical receptionist vibe.
I did laugh out loud at "sit down. We will call you when we are ready"
But that's it, pretty disappointed.
OK, I watched that video. Stupid, stupid, stupid. It had so much potential; I kind of laughed that they based it off "The Doctors," but it quickly devolved into a crass parody.

I'm not offended, but I didn't laugh. But I don't find Amy Schumer funny. I don't know who thought Amy Schumer was funny & decided to make her famous.
