Do you have any regrets? Not a single hairy one. As difficult and challenging as my job is, it is nowhere near as bad as dealing with corporate idiots.

I am still working in accounting because I graduated a year and a half ago with a BSN and still can't get a nursing job :(. Need experience I keep being told if I get an answer at all.

How has your overall experience been as a nurse? It's been challenging, but very satisfying. Nursing is a great fit for me.

What was your previous career? Worked human resources for an IT startup and various office/library positions. Also worked for a nursing staffing agency while in nursing school on the phone interfacing with agency nurses and hospital nursing supervisors.

What is your current position? Oncology/Med surg RN in large teaching hospital

How has your overall experience been as a nurse? Hard work but like it better than desk jobs.

Do you have any regrets? Not so far. Plan is for NP eventually.

What was your previous career? Manager at a fast food restaurant for 9+ years

How has your overall experience been as a nurse? Graduated May 2013, Only been working on this floor for 3 weeks (psych nurse for 3 months before that) but I absolutely love it!

Do you have any regrets? Only that I wish I would've went to school earlier. I didn't believe in myself back then, didn't think I could do better than fast food. So glad I made the decision to go back to school & do something good in my life!
