Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

I should have been more clear. By "we", I meant the members on this forum. None us us ever posted that we in favor of Biden's communations. It just never came up.

That's because they weren't. They may have been part of a ridiculous pardon competition but they weren't worst. Trump, specifically, chose violent angry incels who organized with other violent groups (the Proud Boys) to do whatever it would it take to breach the Capitol building. Don't bother with tit for tat with all the Biden computations. I don't know why this thread is even still going. Do you know what Biden did today? Who cares when Pete Hegseth is releasing military campaigns to an entire email chain...

Hegseth went bonkers when questioned about it. He blamed and criticized the reporter. He trashed her, he trashed the paper blah blah blah... all they do is name call. They act like bunch of kids...And then he said that didn't happen and stomped his feet and walked away. Unflipping believable.

Biden granted over 4000 acts of clemency. More then any other president. He personally couldn't explain why for a vast majority of them. So don't ruin your credibility by defending them.
This thread is still going because we shouldn't forget how wrong the Biden apologists were. More and more keeps coming to light, and many keep inexplicably try to explain away how bad he was as President and how bad he damaged the Democrat party.

It's too bad that so much primary evidence is being disappeared.

I don't think that's true. There are many polls out there that put the blame on Biden for losing the election. Even Pelosi pointed the finger at him.
There's an article yesterday on PBS acknowledging the party has been damaged.
QuoteSuozzi and other Democrats who represent districts won by Trump told NPR if the party wants to take back the House, it needs to do more than fight back — it needs a new strategy.
'The Democratic brand has been damaged'
Suozzi won in a district that went for former President Joe Biden in 2020 and swung to Trump four years later. He replaced former GOP Rep. George Santos in a special election after Santos was expelled by Congress.
He said Democrats have a damaged brand.
"When you ask people, what do the Republicans stand for? They say, 'well, Make American Great Again, they want to cut the size of government, they want to give tax cuts,'" Suozzi said. "And what do the Democrats stand for? I think people are kind of scratching their heads a little bit — they believe in choice and LGBT rights — which I believe in those things too — but I don't know you can build a whole party around that."
I don't defend Biden except when I hear rhetoric and false narrative.
The Democrats may be damaged but still here judging by the enthusiasm and large crowds Harris brought out and the current large crowds that Sanders is bringing out they aren't beyond repair and are in the process of dusting themselves off. They may lose elections but after Biden are on an upswing.
Doing a deeper dive myself, it seems prison reform advocates supported non-violent drug offenders with long sentences being released. It was something Biden said he was proud of. Did he know the details of individual cases? Unlikely since there were so many. Republicans didn't seem to have an issue with this, but of course with his last minute pardons including his son they did.
It is regrettable that some released will inevitably not have learned their lesson and return to a life of drugs and crime.

You didn't read my post. I didn't defend Biden. I thought they were ridiculous. However, here we are still talking about someone who left the rear view mirror in 2024. It's 2025 now and, IMO, even worst.

I agree. Looking back I'm not finding it was a controversy that he offered clemency to so many people. Why look back and make an issue out of something that wasn't an issue at the time? Like I said, it certainly is newsworthy when someone pardoned or offered clemency commits a crime and I don't blame them. I get that part,
Certainly with Biden out of office only a few months it's okay to look back at our current situation that he and his policies might have been contributed to.
But listen to Trump and Republicans he inherited a country with open borders, with illegal criminals running rampant, drug trafficking out of control, and economy and world order in ruins.
I remember saying after Biden took office, and you might remember I got tired of the "but Trump...." posts (especially around the economy and covid issues) and I said maybe after a year we should not be talking about Trump and it's time to keep the subject on Biden.
I'm going to do the same. There's only so long I'm going to listen to the "look what Biden did...." posts. But I understand that this early in the game it might be fair.
