President Biden thread

Published

Wow.  No one has started such a thread yet?

After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days,  apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.

Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week,  by the end of April.

Yes the same social media that conspired to supress the Hunter Biden crime/shame. That was lead by stanch far left radical elites. That determined free speech is not permitted on their platforms. So that means squat Trump got kicked off.

None of that is actually true.

Good thing. We all know Biden can't remember anything.

No, we don't all know that.  We do all know that Trump doesn't value honesty, integrity, or loyalty to the rule of law and many of his voters make excuses for that while most just don't care.

Trump is fit to stand trial.

Biden is a "well meaning forgetful old man " who is not fit to be charged with possession of illegal classified documents he has from when he was VP.

Most cannot fathom a man who most likely is in cognitive decline running the US.

When will people realize that saying Biden has dementia is offensive. Nurses should certainly know better, as we all know how that presents.

Age-related forgetfulness is one thing, Biden has not shown ANY signs of dementia - to throw around 'dementia' or 'demented' is not too different IMO than calling people the R word.

I'm not a fan of Biden. Not sure what I'm going to do when the election rolls around

They're you go repeating right wing spin about the Hur report because you don't know any better.  Meanwhile, there's a recent post conviction interview with Trump that is a pretty good illustration of rambling speech with associative looseness.

Hur said,

"He reasoned that "at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.” In Hur's view, "it would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him—by then a former president well into his eighties—of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”

Repeating a cherry-picked quote does not make it true. Funny you never reference the quote about Biden having a photographic memory. Convenient.

Biden to tout American global leadership during trip to France

Biden will commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day on Thursday in Normandy.

Quote

...On Friday, Biden will deliver remarks on defending freedom and democracy at Pointe du Hoc, a 100-foot cliff Army Rangers scaled under gunfire to seize German artillery that could have been fired upon American forces landing on Omaha Beach down below.

"He'll talk about the stakes of that moment. An existential fight between dictatorship and freedom," White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan told reporters. "He'll talk about the men who scaled those cliffs and how they put themselves behind -- they put the country ahead of themselves.

"And he'll talk about the dangers of isolationism and how if we back [down?] to dictators, fail to stand up to them, they keep going and, ultimately, America and the world pays a greater price," Sullivan added.

Sullivan said Biden will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in both Normandy and on the sidelines of the G7 and will discuss "how we can continue and deepen our support for Ukraine."

You quoted a source who is not professionally trained in evaluating cognitive reasoning. And repeating that quote on a regular basis does not make accurate.

As if providing a citation doesn't mean that you haven't cherry picked words and misrepresented their intention.  You are dishonest in your representations.
