Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.
Beerman said:The reason there would be reasonable doubt of "willful" law breaking (and whether it needs to be willful is debatable) is because he would present himself as a feeble elderly man.
Here is some right-wing spin to help you understand:
"Hur's report included several shocking lines about Biden's memory, which the report said "was significantly limited" during his 2023 interviews with the special counsel. Biden's age and presentation would make it more difficult to convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt that the now-81-year-old was guilty of willfully committing a crime.
"We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” it said. "Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him — by then a former president well into his eighties — of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”
There were other lines in Hur's report that addressed Biden's show of competence. He read them while giving testimony. The totality of his report did not present Biden as someone incapable of being president. I'd love to see a report ofTrump's competence by a psychiatrist which Hur isn't which makes it iffy to start with.

So then, should he have been charged with the crime we was being investigated for?

Sorry. I don't know what this post means. What evidence are you referring to in the Biden "crime?". Can you name something with proof of indictability?
Beerman said:So then, should he have been charged with the crime we was being investigated for?
I already quoted the part that said there was insufficient evidence to justify a prosecution. Why prosecute a crime that doesn't have enough evidence to convict? He did contrast the case against Trump with that of Biden in the report that you haven't read. He was questioned about it in a hearing, under oath.
Beerman said:During D-Day ceremony, Dr Jill Biden and Pres Macron were confused as to should they sit or stand. President Biden does his best to give them a hint, but to no avail.
Horrors. He starts to sit a few seconds early. Awkward. Scandalous. Such an incompetent President. A complete total embarrassment to the country.
Oh, and then he made a campaign speech. How disrespect to Veterans.
Quote"Democracy begins with each of us, begins when one person decides there's something more important than themselves ... when they decide the mission matters more than their life, when they decide that their country matters more than they do,” Biden said, just steps from the site's granite memorial. "That's what the rangers at Pointe-du-Hoc did. That's what they decided.” Delivered thousands of miles away from Washington, Biden's remarks were, to a large degree, geared not just towards a broad American audience but toward specific segments of it — those Republicans enamored by former President Donald Trump's isolationism, skittish Democrats and even traditional independents for whom his outward patriotism and traditional world view might strike a chord.

You are watching an actor. Their goal is to get you to be disgusted with this administration so that you will welcome what they are bringing in.
An actual head of state has comms attached to them. they can simply whisper or hand signal & the whole staff moves into action. You would never even know, if it were real.
Anything abnormal like this would instantly trigger the team, they wouldn't even have to be told.

My bad. I thought it was the other three who were confused.
Interesting segment of speech. When he said democracy is when folks decide that "the country matters more than they do", I thought maybe he was about to announce he was withdrawing from the 2024 election.

Really...it's not like expressing admiration for murdering dictators...or calling soldiers suckers and losers. It was a bad day for those who spend their time looking for Biden gaffes.

No kidding. Yes, Hur covered this in his testimony. In addition to outlining and analyzing the evidence, which was insufficient to justify prosecution, Hur also chose to provide some detail as to why (in his opinion) any attempt to prosecute would fail. Did you just skim over the future tense speculative nature of the part you quoted?
Maybe you don't know that you are just spinning and not telling the straight up truth.
