Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

Huh?
toomuchbaloney said:It would be better for Trump if Biden remains president? Really? How would it be better for Trump to not have immunity from prosecution?
Yes. Trump will beat Biden. Another viable candidate probably beats Trump.
Likrly the wheels are in motion to get rid of Biden as the nominee.

LOL
Well, Biden can't be a criminal mastermind and the guy who negotiates to the disadvantage of republican leadership AND be a demented and doddering fool at the same time. That however, the confused narrative from the right wing about Biden.
Republicans surely hope that they can get Biden removed because of the ill advised and unprofessional remarks of yet another conservative member of the DOJ, when they can't deliver the thing that the right wing base demands (like Comey). Some are surely making noise about the 25th amendment and everything. Of course, the people who work with Biden everyday have a different perception of Biden's mentality. That will make it unlikely that the 25th amendment comes into play. It will certainly be interesting if we hear that Biden's cabinet is considering removal because of their personal observation of unacceptable behavior... you know, like what happened with Trump.
If Trump is going to beat Biden so handily, there's no reason to try to get Biden removed from the Democratic ticket. Removal of Biden won't change the really bad press Trump is going to get as his trials run toward public presentation of evidence. Removing Biden doesn't make Trump less crazy or less of a threat to our republic.

Many of the decisions he makes obviously are liberal ones so of course you would say that and that's okay. Considering that, I'm not going to waste energy answering.

I agree that Biden has advanced some liberal ideas that his younger, more moderate self might have pushed against. That said, he hasn't installed socialism or communism, hasn't grabbed guns, and hasn't taken any rights from citizens in a power grab.
Biden is even keeled and focused. We aren't inundated daily with divisive and angry tweets from Biden accounts. Biden isn't sabotaging congressional efforts to do the people's work to benefit his campaign.
Trump's grievances get lots of press and cause dysfunction in Congress. Biden's quiet work ethic, not so much.

She has an imagination.
And most people outside of NY State believe that all New Yorkers are died hard liberals! Once you go North of the Bronx, that's just not true and NY is a very big state for the east coast.

Agreed. It was kinda a silly question...ha
"Biden was combative, forcefully rejecting Hur's claims that he has a poor memory. But the president was also repeatedly inaccurate, making three claims that were clearly contradicted by Hur's report."

Oh no!
I'm pretty sure that it's not against any laws to be annoyed by the press or to contradict a special counsel report. I'm also quite certain that the Hur report doesn't contain any evidence that Biden intentionally hid documents from the government, lied about retention of secret documents or showed the documents to members of the public.
subee said:The Telegraph? Surely you jest. It's about as serious as the NY Post. Don't you see how irrational they are handling this subject? They assess Biden's gaffes as a danger to the US without mentioning the other guy who is the equivalent of dropping a dirty bomb on Washington; one has no comparison to the other. Our choice is between two people. One is out to destroy the government and the other has kept the wheel greased very well during his tenure. If perfection is you standard, no one will ever be good enough. We are comparitively coming out winners after the pandemic, as compared to other countries. What is it about your life personally that Biden has changed against your favor?
No. I don't see how that are being irrational. Tell me how.
The "other guy" isn't currently the President of the United States. Biden has another year to go. And you want 4 more after thst? God help us all.
How personally has Biden worked against my favor? Well, I'll go for the quick, low-hanging fruit.
While acknowledging some inflation was inevitable, he has exacerbated the problem. Everything costs significantly more.
Many of our hospital systems are cutting raises and capitol improvements because the drastic increase in uncompensated care for migrants.
The City of Denver is cutting services to help make up for a estimated $180 million to assist migrants this year.
That's just a start.

Fair enough.
Although I wish he'd retire, I'm with TMB and feel he's doing a competent job and making good decisions.
