Wow.  No one has started such a thread yet?

After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days,  apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.

Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week,  by the end of April.

Correct.  I provided the explanation from the White House press briefing, which represents Biden's position.

You didn't say that before.  Kinda ironic, considering that I'm often accused of repeating talking points without critical thought.

Anyway, after my last post I did see a clip of the WH briefing on CNN.  

During the CNN segment, their banner said "WH twisted in knots explaining wall".

I net they are.  According to the ABC News story  we're talking about 20 miles of new wall added to 450 miles of previously built "wall"  ( Does that include useless fences?)  so that leaves only another approximately another 1500 miles left.  Good luck with this.  Nobody knows what to do about migration.  It's a world wide problem and the only solution is making the countries they came from more habitable politically.   But that doesn't cover people moving for climate change.  We will find out someday when people are moving North to get away from the heat here.  Poor Canadians.

...and using Trump era funds after campaigning  "no more American taxpayer dollars be diverted to construct a border wall".

But Republicans can't get behind it after a few years of screaming "build that wall".  Presidential candidate Ramaswamy says ""I think that it's too little, too late. Frankly, the wall was not enough. Now, we know that they're building cartel-financed tunnels underneath that wall, so my view is they've been one step behind. I think that in some ways it has been intentionally avoiding addressing this crisis,"  Again with the idea Biden hasn't done anything and has been ignoring the situation.

Like my old grand pappy used to say..."just ignore the hollering, they'd make noise even if you hung em with a new rope". He taught me at an early age that some people are going to complain no matter what.

No s*#t , Sherlock:)  But I'm not willing to ignore these two women, either as contributors to the problem. They pander to their constitutes in their respective cities even their constituents live in the entire states.
