Wow. No one has started such a thread yet?
After promising that most K-8 students would be in schools in the first 100 days, apparently Joe is afraid to lead on this and has drastically scaled back that goal.
Instead, we're shooting for about half to go to school at least one day a week, by the end of April.

I would never diagnosis him as I have not assessed him nor am I qualified but I most certainly would not describe him as sharp!
If he was a regular person and I was conducting a family consult, I would recommend further cognitive testing. Easy to see that there may be some issues there.

I've simply observed video of him of over his 50 years in the public eye. It's not difficult to come to the opinion, nit diagnosis, I have.

But you certainly struggled to identify the disqualifying character flaws of Trump... they weren't difficult to discern by any measure yet it remains hard for Trump supporters to discern his lies and unstable emotional health.
Get well President Biden!

President Biden tests positive for COVID-19
Biden, 79, is taking the antiviral pill Paxlovid.

Anyway, you believe our "sun and shore loving, bicycle riding" President's skin cancer was caused by the oil refineries in Delaware?
He previously stated it caused asthma. Must have forgot about the cancer.

Thanks, but someone already posted this earlier this morning.

Personality flaws and mental health issues are separate from cognition. I'm not a Trump supporter by the way.
Just saying there is a difference between those subjects.
I think both Biden supporters and Trump supporters dig their heels in. Today is a time of resisting the other at all cost instead of coming together for a mutual cause. No matter how many suffer. It's sad really.

So you think that Trump has no problems with cognition?

I didn't say otherwise regarding cognitive function.
I also didn't say that you were/are a Trump supporter.
Biden doesn't have supporters in the same way that Trump has supporters. That reality of difference is HUGE and important because the authoritarians are exploiting the absence of unified support in their marketing and messaging. The media will elevate those messages in an attempt to appear "balanced" in the face of a direct threat to this democratic republic.
Yeah Biden is old and, like Reagan, he is not at his cognitive peak. Fortunately, there is a well thought out transfer of duty should Biden become unable to serve. Still, Biden was a much much better choice than Trump in 2020.

I am not qualified to diagnose and I have not done an assessment(disclaimer).
I do not see cognition issues in his speech pattern. I find that his gait and eye movements are intact. I see allot of narcissistic traits(again,I'm not qualified to diagnosis this either). He is able to manufacture a thought and follow through with related ideas. (Doesn't give them validity,or doesn't make them not ridiculous either).
It takes cognition to be able to be so boastful and manufacture false ideas such as the election was stolen. Not to mention staging an insurrection requires cognition to be intact. If this is what he did.
I would say he is more delusional, unable to accept defeat, rather than suffering cognitive decline.
Doesn't make him any better or worse. His personality flaws is what defines him.
Again, there are more subtle indicators of cognitive decline that may only be noticed by those close to him and/or test that can detect early decline. He did have a cognition evaluation by the previous presidential physician and it was reported to not show cognitive decline.

Kind of like how you misrepresented my comments as thinking history is "silly"? In the other topic thread?
