Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

:w00t:Just wanted to start a party thread to celebrate being done with finals!

So, what classes did you take? How do you think you did? What are you taking next sememster?

Finished with an A in Chemistry and an A in Psychology. Gonna enjoy the break!!

Specializes in none but hope to have one soon.

I took English Comp I and got an A:monkeydance: I also took two developmental courses, Algebra and Chem both passed! I will be taking Health Science I (A&P) and Psychology next semester. After that I have 7 pre/coreqs to go till I apply for Nursing School. Good luck to all that are appling for FALL07!

Specializes in New Graduate Nurse.

I finished last week. had to wait until Sunday Morning for my grades to post. I HATE the wait from finals to final grades.

I managed A's in all. I am going to try and not load myself up like I did last fall. A&P 1 and Lab, Chem and Lab, Statistics, and ethics. Phew...made for two weeks of finals. One more Semester and I am DONE with "pre-wrecks".

Hope all are doing well and have an awesome holidays.....spring semester will be here way too soon.

Miami Dade College

Specializes in ED, Pedi Vasc access, Paramedic serving 6 towns.

I finished my final friday and the HESI yesterday... ya its BEEEREEEAAAAAK time, except for the one week eithics class i have to take.

Health Science....will you still need Anatomy, Micro and Chemistry separately or is it all thrown into one BIG class? Just curious because prereks are so darn different everywhere.

It's all thrown into one class, which is why it was so intense! The only science pre-reqs for nursing at our CC is Health Science 1 & 2. Then in the nursing program they just have classes called things like Nursing 101.

yes I finally got my grades yeesh talk about making you wait it out!

A in both Chemistry and AP 1

I am so happy about that! I was sweating it out at the beginning of the semester it was very hard!

One more really hard one and I can breath easier for a while!

Specializes in SRNA.

Just had to post to describe my overwhelming joy at another 4.0 semester...5.0 units of Chem, Epidemiology and two 3.0 unit elective Biology courses as GPA boosters. I can't believe I'm doing so well while working full-time, it really does demonstrate how much more motivated one can be when they are working towards a passionate goal. I'm doing better academically now then when I was getting my B.A. :w00t:

I just finished my nursing final Monday the 18th, and my ATI yesterday the 20th........ I had myself convinced  I bombed the final and would need to repeat. :barf01: ......crazy what anxiety does to you!!!!

Anyway I passed my last nursing class so now I have an Associates Degree in Nursing. :balloons: :smiley_aa :yeah:

I am now going to start working on my BSN online in another couple of months while I am working. then onto CRNA school if possible.......... Well good luck in nursing all of you!!! It is tough but you can do it!!!!!!! ;) and you'll be very proud at your accomplishment !

I can only imagine the intensity considering three classes thrown into one :uhoh3: You must be soooo glad that it is over with.

LOL well, HALF over with. Finished with Health Science 1, Health Science 2 starting in January! At least this time I feel more prepared . . . I'm happier still with my A cuz I found out there were only 4 As in the class (of 30). 11 people failed, and 5 withdrew. I sure hope this helps me get into the nursing program!

Thanks!

Kelly
