Hello all, I am curious to see what the current pay rate is across the country so we can better prepare ourselves and negotiate better salaries! Please try to keep this poll to any graduates after 2010. Thanks!
1) State
2) Hourly Salary
3) Experience, if any
4) Specialty, if any
Here's mine:
NJ
$26/hr new grad, no exp., recently changed jobs $33/hr 1 yr exp.
Only 1 year old RN
Nephrology/dialysis
No offense, but that seems a little low for the Bay Area. Cost living out here is crazy.
Yes, it is low, and the differentials aren't great there, either. I couldn't help my face when she said that, but she said that's what's on their "grid" for new grads, $31-32/hour. Freestanding psych units are like LTC and home health, where they just don't pay what acute care pays.
I have another offer for when I am licensed, but we haven't yet discussed salary. It's not flexible there, and I believe the base is $35 (may be higher), but the differentials are way better. It's the lowest paying hospital in this city (about an hour outside of SF), but the culture is better than the other public hospital, and Kaiser refuses to hire new grads (though they pay well).
Can anyone tell me how much is the pay rate for florida health orlando hospital and lee memorial hospital residency program?...thank you so much:)
My friend is working at Florida hospital orlando.. $21.09/ hour..not sure on the pay differentials though. I think I've heard that all Florida hospitals run about that beginning rate.
