  1. Our reps wear the same blue scrubs as we do but wear bright red hats. They also wear stickers with their pictures on them as well as their names to identify who they are. They aren't allowed in without either of those items. Also they are not allowed in any of our storage or supply rooms without a hospital employee present Sent from my iPhone using allnurses

  10. I too used Hurst. I took nclex on Jan 17th and passed. I honestly can't say whether it helped or not. Let me know what you think once you test. Good Luck! C Smith
  11. DEU is a dedicated education unit. My university participates and I feel it is a great clinical model. It is usually 1 to 1 so one student to one nurse on the unit who has been trained by the university to be a preceptor. Whereas on a regular unit we would have 1 clinical instructor with 6 or 7 students. The DEU saves time and gives the students more opportunities for patient care. C Smith
