  1. I would say to definitely be prepared for behavioral based questions and a few clinically based ones. Overall I was surprised at the smoothness of the interview. It did not feel like a high pressure situation.
  2. 1. State you work in: CA 2. Years of experience: New Grad 3. Specialty/unit and work setting (clinic, hospital, prison, etc): Cardiothoracic PCU 4. Hourly Pay (base rate) or salary: 47.92 (50.32 after 6 months) 5. Differentials (if any) $6 evening/night 6. Union: CNA
  3. As a big proponent of the Pearson Vue Trick, I will tell you that you should definitely wait 24 hours before putting any emotion into the trick for your situation. I have seen so many testimonials that I cannot even count them. If there is a case where you don't get the good popup initially but do so later, it's when individuals go all the way to 265. Your test will be scored a second time some time within 24 hours after you have completed it. That second scoring will determine your fate and not necessarily what the computer determined initially. Good luck!!!
  4. Yea I noticed that. For me and all my classmates that I talked to it worked just fine. I can see telling people not to completely rely on it, but to not give it any credit at all, I just don't understand.
  5. If you'd like to discuss this further please feel free to PM me. Otherwise, I feel you are too much on the defense right now to have this discussion on the board. Thanks.
  6. I assure you there was no "attacking" going on here. It's quite difficult to judge inflection on a message board.
  7. No real issue with you. We can discuss this like grown ups. We'll just have to agree to disagree. I firmly believe the PVT works and you believe it doesn't work. We can just leave it at that.
  8. I'm not the one calling others out for arguing. Quit while you're behind.
  9. So you argue with him because he argues with everyone? You know what they say about two wrongs, right?
  10. Yes because you were just pointing out the fact that another member was involved in three different threads with the topic. All this and I myself see you on two separate threads arguing with him/her. But wait, you aren't the only one discussing the PVT? I never realized that. I thought you were the lone soul on this earth speaking of this matter.
  11. You're in at least two arguing the same topic!!
  12. Hello and thank you for the information. I appreciate your input but I honestly was already aware of that information. What I was referring to in regards to individuals that run out of time or go to all 265 questions is that their exam is not scored based on the 95% confidence interval rule and thus it is possible that their pass/fail status may change after the second scoring. For someone that passes or fails via the 95% confidence rule it seems that the second scoring is only a formality or quality check. Every time I come across someone who claims the PVT was inaccurate is someone who's test was scored with either the R.O.O.T rule or the maximum-length exam rule, which are applicable for those that run out of time and those who receive 265 question, respectively. Then there are other cases where people simply don't do the trick correctly and get an alternate message which may be due to an incorrect expiration date. In that case I personally view the situation as user error and not PVT inaccuracy.
  13. You are pretty argumentative. I'm done with this conversation. Good luck.
  14. That means they didn't do it correctly. This person didn't even say what the message actually said.
  15. Putting the wrong expiration date doesn't always work.
