Hi!
1) shut off at 75
2)I did the NCSBN online course for about 4 weeks and used the Comprehensive Saunders Review book (while at the pool with the kids) and answered tons of questions on the disc it came with
3) Our school had the HESI test. According to it, I had a 99% chance of passing
4) I am still waiting-I has only been about 15 hours so far. I will continue to check the OBN site (I am hearing that ohio gets them up usually within 24 hrs)
5) I wanted to cry when it shut off and still feel sick... I have absolutely no idea of if I passed or failed
6) yes (and hopefully my last--fingers are crossed)
1. How many questions did you take on NCLEX? 1st : 265; 2nd: 265
3rd: 75
2. What study materials did you use? Did you take a test review course? Hurst, Saunder, NCLEX 3500, Hesi, MedsPub, Kaplan (Best)
3. Did your SON offer any testing (ERI, ATI, HESI)? Hesi
4. How long did you wait for results of the test, or are you still waiting? 1st & 2nd time about a week; 3rd still waitng
5. What were your thoughts coming out of the test (total disbelief, certainty you had failed, confident you had passed)? Well when I walked out the first time I took the test I knew I had failed, because I kind of just gave up after the test kept going at 75. The second time I thought I had passed, I kept saying "I wasn't that bad". This last time I kind of felt a cross between certain I failed and total disbelief. I was always under the impression that if you get 75 questions instead of 265 you somehow felt so good and sure that you had passed, well that is not true. You kind of fell the same, if not worse. At least with 265 you knew you still had a chance, with 75 you either got really good, or you just made the biggest fool of yourself. I have experience with both ends of the rainbow and I can tell you neither end leaves you feeling good.
6. Was this your first attempt at NCLEX? 3rd attempt and with FAITH my last
