Nurses Humor
Published Sep 7, 2001
Okay, does anyone else do this?
I log on to this BB and read ALL the new posts in ALL the sections and respond to some. THEN, I refresh the page and read all the posts that have come in while I was in the process of reading things the FIRST time around.
Tends to take awhile, esp if I haven't been on in a few days but I do it anyway. Am I addicted? :-D

Me too, and it takes a few hours. Sometimes I check in again that evening if I'm really interested in a post. But I learn a lot while I'm here too, and comments made by the people here confirm that I'm not crazy, so I go to work and make suggestions to change things with a bit more confidence.:)

Yeah, it's addicting, alright. Last thing I did before leaving for Big Bear was check this thing, and I lasted 48hrs before I went to the Public Library and got on there!!!

I check the site for new posts at least once a day. If I don't, I feel like I'm missing something. I don't respond too often--mostly just read the posts. I have learned a lot in the short time since I found this board.

Nah, hey I'm here putting off sanding drywall:( Not exactly my idea of a fun way to spend my day off work:( Hey when I am on this bulletin board I can actually say I looked up nursing information when asked what I did all day. Well I guess in addition to the drywall sanding I am going to eventually do, hmm maybe I could find an illness caused by too much drywall dust, jjust kidding. :D

It does have a pull to it, doesn't it? I am getting more and more involved. I think that it is professional deprivation-I am the only nurse or medical professional where I work, so there is no one around to bounce things off of, or share our brand of humor with!
P.S. I always click on the e-mail notification under the message box, and that keeps me up to date on topics I'm especially interested in-
