Okay, does anyone else do this?

I log on to this BB and read ALL the new posts in ALL the sections and respond to some. THEN, I refresh the page and read all the posts that have come in while I was in the process of reading things the FIRST time around.

Tends to take awhile, esp if I haven't been on in a few days but I do it anyway. Am I addicted? :-D

I've been reading quietly for a while and have just started to get the nerve to post freely.

Last year, before I found this board, my boyfriend starting going to premed sites, and he got to the point where he could spend hours at a time just reading and posting...several times a day. I had to kick him off just to check my email for five minutes and then he would be right back on. I kept asking him: "why in the world do you do this??? Have you gone completely insane??Is there nothing better for you to do with your time??"...

Now, HE has to kick me off the computer so he can check his message boards. I'm constantly hearing: "Any chance I can use the computer now?"

I find I just can't get through a day without checking the posts. My problem is I usually do this after getting home at 0700 and I send way too much time and am late getting to bed. And believe me this Old Dog needed all the beauty sleep she can get!!!

Of course tonight I'm off and where am I??? I stay'd up after my husband went to bed to check in.

Oh No!!!! I'm Addicted!!! Help me!!!

Any one know where i can go to combat this addiction? A rehab with no computers? A halfway house maybe??? :D

I am totally addicted to the BB. I have more people to talk with here than in my immediate life !!! It's kind of a hobby too.I WORK AND CHECK THE BB, IF THERE IS ANY TIME LEFT OVER I COOK AND CLEAN (LOL) I HAVE LEARNED SO MUCH, AND WHEN WE GET SILLY, THE POSTS ARE HILARIOUS !!! ANOTHER THING I LIKE IS THE INFORMATION THAT I PICK UP, THE BB IS CHOCKED FULL OF INFO. VISIT MY WEBSITE

I've gotten addicted, too. Right now, I'm taking a break from mulching and had to run in to check what's up. Mulching's not much fun, but it beats sanding drywall!

As a student, I find a lot of helpful info here.

Yep, I'm among the ranks of the addicted. I read through these posts for a long time before I ever joined, and now I spend even more time on the computer putting in my two cents!

It's great being able to get the perspectives of nurses of all specialties, all across the country! Heck, even different countries!

I could pretty much say I'm addicted. I read it during my morning coffee. I start with humor, then off topic, then general and on from there.

Cyberkat, I would take mulching ANY DAY over dry wall anything! We have been remodeling, rebuilding, adding on since May, and finally saw the backside of the drywall guy this past Saturday. Now it is painting and fixtures. Yay! I don't know if I will ever get all of the plaster dust cleaned away. It is on and in everything!
