  19. Select your school.
  20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
  21. Select your board of nursing.
  22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Poll to take once you have received your response:

Oh, thanks for letting me know. Did u see my other question to u about doing the pvt trick now that you've passed? I'm curious if the pop up goes away eventually.

The same message comes up still. I have recently scheduled a test...contact a board member...a lot of people from my school drove their transcripts to Sacramento to expedite it. You can also try calling and speaking with someone at the BRN, which is what I did. Some of my classmates are still waiting to hear after 3 weeks!

I don't know if this was previously answered since I didn't want to read through all 53 pages of this!

When you do the Pearson Vue trick, do you answer yes or no to the question about have you ever taken NCLEX RN before?

Yes, you do. Although, I tried it both ways and the same pop-up came up. But the directions say to say you have already taken the exam.

Do you answer "yes" or "no" to the question "have you taken NCLEX exam before?"

Also, will the trick still work if I had to change my password?

Thanks.

Hello all! So, I took the NCLEX-RN on the 26th of January. I read about the PVT and tried it 4 hours after the exam and I received the "good" pop up. It's already Feb. 6th...been waiting for 11 days now. A few classmates already got their results last week and my anxiety level is slowly increasing... I just hope and pray that I pass :o

I took my NCLEX on the 6th of Feb. Tried the Pearson VUE trick this morning (Feb. 7) and it wouldn't let me register, called the VABON later this morning and I currently have an active lisence to practice!!! :) So the trick worked for me!

So I'm checking in to share my results with PVT. I sat for NCLEX-RN on Jan 18 and stopped at 75 questions. Got home and received the "good popup" stating I couldn't register. After a delay from my school's admissions and records office (took them over 4 weeks after graduation to send out the official transcripts ), it is FINALLY official -- I am an RN!! :nurse: WOOHOO! PVT worked for me LOL!

Now, to wait for orientation for my new job on Ortho/Med-Surg... they had to delay the start date because there are 20 of us who didn't have results until this week.... Oh, the joys of living in CA ;)

I'm on day 14 of waiting here in California! It's terrible. I'm still getting the good pop up so that's hopeful but this waiting is a joke! I think the BRN needs to participate in the quick results program. I had to drive my transcripts to Sacramento because my file was incomplete. That was two weeks ago and I'm still waiting for an answer

Nursing people... AllNurses is truly a great thing, I can always come here to vent :)

So, I took the test got to about 130 questions then the computer shut down. I passed the PVTrick but will come back to let you know if it worked. Anyone have a similar experience?

I took my exam today at 2pm in San Diego CA. It shut off at 75 questions. I thought it was VERY hard and I think at least half of my questions were SATA. Hoping the the "trick" works. Two classmates have had it work so far, so we are 2 for 2 right now. Third classmate is still waiting for posting on CA BRN website and I hope to see mine in the next few weeks too. Will keep you posted.....[/quote']

IT WORKS! IT WORKS! I found out today that I passed!

Keep the faith ya'all!

It's Feb 7...waited exactly 12 days, but it's official... I am a Registered Nurse:nurse: and will be working in Labor & Delivery unit... I have an amazing Lord that loves me!:yeah:
