Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.
Poll to take once you have received your response:

I just took the NCLEXRN today... had 85 questions took 2 hours... and I got the "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." pop-up... I'm so jolly! Less anxiety but it still doesn't justify the thought of passing until is see the four letter word PASS.
I've been reading the threads on AllNurses about the PVT trick. I would like to testify if this is trully reliable. So far, 9 of my colleagues have done the PVT trick, got the good pop up and they all passed. So i'm hoping it does the same for me.
I'll keep you all posted!
nursing people... allnurses is truly a great thing, i can always come here to vent :)so, i took the test got to about 130 questions then the computer shut down. i passed the pvtrick but will come back to let you know if it worked. anyone have a similar experience?
i passed!
the pvt works... in just over 24 hours i was able to get results on the fl bon website (ss & dob needed). i checked during my lunch break b/c i was a nervous freak & there it was.... "pass". thank you lord!
We shall see if the Pearsonvue trick really works!!!! I took my test today at.....:uhoh21:..... at one o'clock and I used every bit of the 5 hours (lol) I only had 6 mins to spare!!! I have been checking the PVT and so far it's saying I passed!!!! :yeah:BUT!!!! The Nursing BOPA website does not show my name So I guess I will just have to wait and see!! I will let you know how I make out!!
Well.. took my PN exam today at 8am. Took 85 questions in about an hour and 10 minutes. I checked the "trick" about an hour after the exam and I got the "good" pop up- "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." So I guess we'll see!
PVT was reliable for me and the 60+ students that graduated with me, whether they passed or not... Most of the posts I have seen stating the PVT did not work (and I have spent WEEKS reading ALL of them) were a result of not following the steps correctly (results not delivered, selecting the wrong test as in PN vs RN, etc.).
Congrats on passing, btw, and I hope the stressed out people still waiting for results take your post with a grain of salt.
