Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

I took the NCLEX RN today at 2:00. I am getting the good message but am a nervous wreck! I had 75 questions and they were also mostly SATA and prioritizing ones as well as tons of meds. I do think that if I failed it would have taken more questions to figure out I didn't know enough to pass if that makes sense. I usually test well and was thinking I was borderline the whole time so I figured I would get more questions. I sooo hope this message is true! I have tried so many times now and need to be patient and wait. I am afraid if I try to many times it will put me through to the cc# info! This is gonna be a long 48 hours!

Pink shirt, three words; Relax.....you passed!

Thank you so much! I just wish I could. It has been a really emotional day

I went through it yesterday. Today I went to the beach, rode my bike twice and had a BBQ. :)

I understand how you feel ryt now !!! I just took the test today and think I did horrible on the test. I think I did about 85 questions...

I just tried Pearsonvue trick and got the same pop which says exactly same thing!!

I am wondering whether I am passed or not. I currently live in CA so I won't be able to know the official result until I receive a mail from BON...

IT TRULY SUCKS TO TAKE NCLEX IN CA!!!!!!!!!

I took my exam today at 2pm in San Diego, CA. It shut off at 75 questions. I thought it was VERY hard and I think at least half of my questions were SATA. Hoping the the "trick" works. Two classmates have had it work so far, so we are 2 for 2 right now. Third classmate is still waiting for posting on CA BRN website and I hope to see mine in the next few weeks too. Will keep you posted.....

Well....i am a lot more calm now, i pretty certain that that message means you PASSED (me too). I have a reliable source that confirmed that i have passed my exam. I got that exact same msg. CONGRATS! WE DID IT!!

@Contrail, that is an excellent way to relax. I hope I can find out tomorrow so I can get some peace too.

@GodsWork, praying that we all passed!

Took my NCLEX-RN on October 11, 2011. Finished at 75 questions. Did the Pearsonvue trick within an hour of taking the exam and got the "good pop up". I was still skeptical about it even after reading tons and tons of reviews on how accurate it was. I checked the Pearsonvue site multiple times each day to see if maybe it was an error (it doesn't change, believe me). Low and behold 3 days later I check the BRN website at 10am on October 14 and found out I was an officially licensed REGISTERED NURSE of CALIFORNIA! I still can't believe I passed with 75 questions.

To give hope to others, I took my exam twice. I unfortunately didn't pass the first time and ended at 75 questions so when I took it the second time it stopped at 75 questions also! Yeah, just my luck right?! So you can imagine how I felt afterwards. Just stick to a plan on studying and making your weak points strong! I'm one of the few who actually did not find Kaplan helpful and instead stuck to the Saunders 5th edition textbook (and read the ENTIRE book) as well as taking a study course here in Burbank.

Good luck to future test takers and my fellow future nurses =)

Just curious, when you failed the first time did you try the PVT and did it take you to the cc page?

Dear fellow nurses.... I passed!!!!!!!!! i got my letter today in the mail.... it came so quick(less than a week) surprisingly because the rest of my classmates took 3-4 weeks(California is slow).... The trick does work...no if, and, or buts... it works point blank period... I promise... see you guys later happy hour is calling me lol...

Congrats on passing:) i'm in California too and I've been waiting for my results to post but I found out that my transcripts haven't been mailed yet? So frustrating! So here I sit waiting.....I was holding out hope because I got the good pop up but now I just read on someone posting that if your file isn't completed with the BRN like mine the "good pop up" doesn't mean you passed:( I hope this isn't true!

The same thing happened with me. My transcripts weren't sent on time, but I also got the "good pop up". I found out yesterday that I passed! I don't think it matters if the BRN has completed your file. Pearson still knows whether you passed, and they are not connected with the BRN, except to give results. If you got an IP, keep checking that status as well. As long as it's up, you're good. The BRN takes that down as soon as they get the notice that someone failed.
