Hi Everyone,
First, I just want to thank everyone that comes to this website to share his or her experience. This website literally keeps people alive and going during some tough times. You might not know it, but there are tens of people out there that quote this website each day.
My journey with the Nclex-RN in California started on the 2th of December. I took the Nclex, I went home and tried the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up. 24 hours and 4 days later, I was still getting the good pop-up. A week passed and no result or license, I was anxious to say the least, as some of my classmates got their license within 48 - 72 hours after taking the exam.
I always came to this website to get some courage as the weeks rolled by. Finally on 31st of December, I got my license. The long wait was over.
My main reason of writing today is that through my experience, I found out that the pearson vue trick is not a trick. It is the way the computer is programmed. If one fails the Nclex, it will take your money or decline your card accordingly (for insufficient funds or being invalid). The so called trick works perfectly.
Secondly, If you live in California, and you get the good pop-up after 24 hours of taking the Nclex, you passed. The waiting time has to do with the BRN taking so much time to process files. Keep strong and keep faith, you will get your license.

I took nclex rn, stopped at 75 questions and i also got the good pop-up yesterday. I'll try the pvt again later today once im past the 24hr mark and hopefully i will still get the good pop-up lol. Good luck to the both of us!
Just wanted to share my story...took my nclex-pn 2/18/2015 started at 8 am got all the questions, system did not shut off!!!! So I was freaking out the whole time. It took almost the complete 5 hours to test finished at about noon. Throughout the whole day I was in shock came out of testing disoriented. I'm from California so we dont have access to quick results hosnestly who waits 4-6 weeks that's insaneeee so ofcourse I tried the PVT trick after 24 hours and got the good pop up! Now I'm just waiting for my results in the mail. Not sure if PVT worked for me yet as I don't have my results to prove it but it sure helped my anxiety :) Wish me luck

I tried millions of times after class till now. It is been 21 hours after. It shows "good pop-up" but I am still not sure, hopefully everything will go well. I am in CA too. So bad that we don't have quick result.
So I just took the NCLEX today......75 questions. I am thoroughly convinced I bombed it, even after an ATI prep course and the last predictor exam that gave me a 97% passing rate on my first try. I tried the "trick" everyone is mentioning and got a pop up that stated I had results "on hold", clearly not the good pop-up. Anyone have any suggestions, I thought my anxiety would be gone but now it's just worse.

Yeah, that is the good pop-up. But you have to understand that the NCLEX is scored twice, so I would suggest to try the PVT again tomorrow because it is more accurate after 24hrs or so I've heard lol.
