  1. Whoops! Hows that for "day off" brain....left my detail orientation at work I guess. Thank you for pointing that out.
  2. Thank you for your comments! I found a job....it is not my "dream" job but is certainly teaching me a lot. It is full time, I can now say I am an experienced RN I am also starting back to school in Sept for my BSN......not sure but I think I may be a masochist.
  3. Looking for opinions on ANA and State membership, I am a new grad with my first RN job. Do any of you have an opinion on these memberships? I will be honest 150.00 for a year is pretty pricey...at least right now. Not sure if it is worth the investment. I will be looking for a new job in the next 6 months to a year and am curious if professional memberships hold any weight in the hiring process. Thanks for your opinions - Shannon
  4. Hello All! I am a new grad looking for work in Manchester, Concord or Nashua. Here is the catch I have an ADN and took my NCLEX today(still really nervous but trying to stay positive) I have been working in homecare as an LNA and really want to get into surgical nursing. I tried the DH residency but they are only taking BSNs. I have an application in at St.Joe's for their residency program but no word yet. I have been accepted into Colby-Sawyer's RN to BSN program, I will start in the fall. Anyone have any suggestions?? Thank you SO much - Shannon
  5. So I just took the NCLEX today......75 questions. I am thoroughly convinced I bombed it, even after an ATI prep course and the last predictor exam that gave me a 97% passing rate on my first try. I tried the "trick" everyone is mentioning and got a pop up that stated I had results "on hold", clearly not the good pop-up. Anyone have any suggestions, I thought my anxiety would be gone but now it's just worse.
