  1. I took my nclex yesterday too, mine stopped at 75 questions and i got 21 SATAs, 1 ekg, 1 exhibit and 4 drag & drop. I marked it in my eraseboard every time i got an alternate format question just for the hell of it lol. I did the PVT yesterday when i got home from the exam, I got the good pop-up and i tried the PVT again earlier today when it was past 24hours and still got the good pop-up. Then i just checked my local BON and i now have a license # and RN next to my name. I can't say much about your results based on the questions you got because every one gets a different amount every time, but i will wish you luck and hope for the best! :)
  2. Thank you! I'm not trying to jinx you or anything, but it's more than likely that you passed too! I'll be waiting for your good news.
  3. Thanks and good luck to you too! I just checked my state's BON and i am now officially a RN! Now i can finally have a good night's sleep lol. And yeah, I forgot to mention I also did the PVT earlier today when I woke up and still got the good pop-up so PVT worked for me. ?
  4. Yeah.. I wont be much help in regards to study materials because i didnt enroll in any review classes (kaplan, hurst, ncsbn etc.) I only used a saunders Q&A in pdf format that i got after googling a bit, that Lippincott website someone posted here in allnurses and for content i used my notes from nursing school. Oh, i also used the nclex mastery app which was helpful when im not home. If you have the patience & can afford a review class then go for it. Don't do what i did because i'm not even sure if i passed.. On a side note, i just did the PVT again (past 24 hours since i started the test, i tested 8am yesterday lol) and still got the good pop-up. Hopefully it's accurate. Edit: Almost forgot to say, good luck on your exam!
  5. The only advice i could give you is try to relax because the nclex questions are a lot less confusing than most of the review materials out there, especially kaplan. (At least based on my experiece when i tried the free kaplan mini Qbank app because that was the only kaplan i could afford lol) Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying nclex is easier.. It's just a lot less confusing, the questions i got yesterday when i took my nclex were pretty straight forward and even the choices didn't seem like it was trying to trick me, unlike most Q&A review materials out there; or at least that's how i felt lol As long as you know your content, can apply all the knowledge you obtained throughout nursing school (critical thinking, test taking strategies etc.) and a bit of luck then you should be fine. ps. I know im kinda giving you some false reassurance here which is non-therapeutic in our profession lol.
  6. I took nclex rn, stopped at 75 questions and i also got the good pop-up yesterday. I'll try the pvt again later today once im past the 24hr mark and hopefully i will still get the good pop-up lol. Good luck to the both of us!
  7. I feel you, I also took my NCLEX earlier today and now I can't sleep because of it lol.
  8. Exhibit questions are kinda like "look at the chart" questions, then just pick the correct answer from the given choices. I think ncsbn got a sample on their website.
  9. Yeah, that is the good pop-up. But you have to understand that the NCLEX is scored twice, so I would suggest to try the PVT again tomorrow because it is more accurate after 24hrs or so I've heard lol.
  10. Good luck on your exam tomorrow! And like most people said, try to relax because the nclex questions are a lot less confusing than kaplan questions. (At least based on my experiece when i tried the free kaplan mini Qbank app because that was the only kaplan i could afford lol)
  11. I just took my nclex and the one i used the most out of your list was the -suffixes. Only got 1 or 2 straight out choose the medication question, the rest of my meds question were about adverse effects or priority interventions, in which case i just chose the most "dangerous" out of the given choices lol.
  12. Congratulations and thank you for sharing! I am also taking my nclex rn in a couple of weeks so im really feeling the pressure now and for some reason reading stories here in allnurses calms me down a bit lol.
  13. If you want accurate results, best thing to do is wait 24hours before trying out the PVT. You could also do it right after the exam to get a feel for it, but you have to understand that the exam is scored TWICE, once after the exam and the 2nd scoring within 24hrs and the 2nd scoring is the one that counts, or so i heard. On a side note, i also heard that you can just put a different expiration date on your credit card whenever you try the PVT so there's no risk in losing $$, because if you pass you will get the good pop up and when it tries to charge you but declines your card because of the wrong expiration date then yeah.. you get the point.
  14. We did check out some bon websites but haven't got the time to check all of them. I guess i was just hoping that someone here would know lol. Thanks anyway.
  15. She lives in CA at the moment, but she's planning to get her license in a different state (if there are other states that doesn't require a local license) because i heard right now in CA she has to retake some unit courses in order to qualify. She doesn't have a particular state in mind yet, I would assume that the states which doesn't require a local license would be on top of her list though lol
