Pearson Vue Trick 2015 Latest

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

First, I just want to thank everyone that comes to this website to share his or her experience. This website literally keeps people alive and going during some tough times. You might not know it, but there are tens of people out there that quote this website each day.

My journey with the Nclex-RN in California started on the 2th of December. I took the Nclex, I went home and tried the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up. 24 hours and 4 days later, I was still getting the good pop-up. A week passed and no result or license, I was anxious to say the least, as some of my classmates got their license within 48 - 72 hours after taking the exam.

I always came to this website to get some courage as the weeks rolled by. Finally on 31st of December, I got my license. The long wait was over.

My main reason of writing today is that through my experience, I found out that the pearson vue trick is not a trick. It is the way the computer is programmed. If one fails the Nclex, it will take your money or decline your card accordingly (for insufficient funds or being invalid). The so called trick works perfectly.

Secondly, If you live in California, and you get the good pop-up after 24 hours of taking the Nclex, you passed. The waiting time has to do with the BRN taking so much time to process files. Keep strong and keep faith, you will get your license.

Just finished my NCLEX with all 265. I did the Hurst and several several Kaplans. I'm in shock I had to take the max. Tried the PVT and now I'm $200 shorter. I can't go through all this studying again...:(

:( Dam. I'm sorry. Keep your head up!

I did multiple times and still the same. Probably cause its weekend.

I took my NCLEX yesterday I also got ALL 265, I can't believe it. So drained!

I took my NCLEX RN yesterday 2/6/15 8am and tried PVT and it says my test result are on hold and cannot make any registration? Can somebody tell me what tha means is that a bad pop up or good pop up? im freaking out!! Thank You!!

A hold is placed on any exam that is being reviewed for any of a multitude of reasons. Your exam might have been flagged if you took a shorter-than-usual time to take it, if you took frequent breaks, if there was any glitch that day at the testing center itself (power issues, anything at all).

A hold is not a good or bad anything: it is a hold. Your exam will still be scored, but won't be released until after the hold is lifted, which is anywhere from 24-72 hours after completion of the exam.

Don't read anything into it. Unless you did something that you know is going to result in an invalidated exam (and you'd know it if you did!), it has zero affect on the end result. Hang in there!

It just means it hasn't been transmitted yet. If you try now it should be ok

No, it does not. It means that the exam has been flagged for review. As I just wrote to the person asking the question, there are many reasons why, anything from suspected cheating (the person testing OR ANYONE ELSE at the testing site), power issues, any anomoly with the exam that day whatsoever. Happens frequently.

Holds are lifted somewhere between 24 and 72 hours.

Did you wait at least 24 hours before trying PVT? If not, and you did it right after the exam, all you know is that your first score was likely a fail. Most people don't realize that the exam is scored TWICE, once immediately upon conclusion of the exam (which is why so many people think "it works right after the test"---and it does not).

At 265, you went right to the last possible question, and your exam could go either way. If you failed the second scoring too, your having paid $200 won't be an issue because you'd have to test again anyway. However, if you're like some of the others who "jumped the gun" on PVT and paid $$ only based on the first result....AND your second score is a 'pass'....you will have paid $$ for no reason, it's non-refundable, and you'd be freaking out over a failed exam for no reason either.

Odds are you did fail. But until you get official results, you don't know for sure.

You can do it a thousand times, but until the exam is scrutinized, the hold will not be lifted. For your sanity's sake, I hope it's soon!

My friend took nclex Saturday and she tried for quick result however it says exam under review. We tried for trick and it also give same error. I did trick myself couple weeks ago and it worked for me. Anyone know what is mean this error.

I took my exam Monday 02-03-15... About 3hrs later I did the trick got the good pop up and then did it again the next day around 5:30pm still got the good pop up. Searched my name on nursys.com and found my license number at 6pm when they update their website that day! The trick worked for everybody in my classmate.

You should tell that to the people who got the good pop up (with the new updates) who still failed. Or the ones who's cards got charged for them to later find out they passed but could not get a refund. So this is not 100% accurate still.

However, congrats on passing your NCLEX !!! WTG!!

Hi! You are the first person I have seen say that someone got the good pop up and then failed. I just took mine today so reading this made me a little nervous! Was this recently? Do you happen to know how many questions they had? This 48 hour wait is going to drive me insane. This was the only thing giving me any peace of mind lol!

That's not true. People have reported getting charged when they've passed. It doesn't happen every time, but it has happened. That's an expensive risk to take just because you're anxious to know.

You just have to enter the wrong expiration date. It can't charge your card if the exp date is wrong. I got the good pop up that way! People who enter their real card info and risk losing $200 are crazy! lol.

I'm either having some SERIOUS deja vu moments here or I just answered your question five minutes ago....maybe on another thread??

I would like to read your response to this question! How do I find it?
